Got to bring one of those things to Southwest Florida when we're experiencing a hurricane. Wouldn't that have been a hoot during hurricane Ian 🙌😂😂😂😂 I'm originally from New Jersey if I pulled something like this off none of my neighbors would be surprised down here in Cape Coral 😂😂😂😂✌️
We did our once in a lifetime trip to NZ in 2019 and loved it so much that we moved here 4 months after our trip. Have been here for five and half years now.
Thanks for coming to visit my home. Can I just say you barely scratched the surface NZ has such incredible depth after 64 years I am still discovering new delights, I guess same for everywhere but so true here :). South Island OMG you will have been blown away.
Oh, we're fully aware we barely scratched the surface. I always wish we had more time. Of course, we do need time to edit these videos to push out too, but wouldn't mind a staycation to really get to explore the islands.
Hands down this is my favorite video of yours yet! I'm a botanist, so I loved your walk out in nature, and I'm always interested in indigenous cultures. Looking forward to part 2!
Damn you absolutely aced most of the pronunciations of the Te Reo placenames. Also the Redwoods are actually a pretty popular filming location for local and international tv and movies, so you're not far of with the Star Wars comments. Im lucky enough to go for walks around there 3 or 4 times a week so its always so funny seeing it on youtube.
Wow so refreshing to see New Zealand from your guys’ perspective! I’m from Rotorua but so excited to see you guys explore the South Island. It’s gorgeous there.
You guys are the perfect advertisement to the world about why everyone needs to visit here at least 10 times : ) ....love your passion and enthusiasm...Arohanui from Aotearoa
Kia Ora! I am glad you lived our beautiful country! I grew up about an hour from Rotorua in Tauranga! Your videos of the geysers reminded me of my school trips there, haha! You got some amazing footage. Enjoy all your future travels. Much aroha (love) from a new kiwi subscriber. ❤
What a grand adventure! We visited NZ & Rotorua in 2015 - never made it to the South Island (yet!) - can't wait for the 2nd part of the video. Really enjoying your videos!
Thanks for watching. Hope you can make it back to see the south one day. It's breathtaking, and I don't say that too often. Everywhere is surrounded by snow capped mountains.
Hope you enjoyed your holiday in New Zealand I've lived in New Zealand since I was born and it's amazing here I was born and raised in nz so I can tell you that it is worth coming here
I’ve lived in Rotorua my whole life but I recommend that if you ever come to New Zealand again come in the summer time! The sun sets at around 8pm and the sun rises a lot earlier! If you end up going to Queenstown make sure you have a lot of money spare because stuff down there is EXTREMELY expensive 😂😂
We didn't spend a lot of time in Queenstown for that reason. But I agree, summer is where it's act. However, we do enjoy traveling in offseason when there are less crowds and the flights are cheapest
5:36 yes you lost that day. But when you come back it might be like my return from Japan to Canada a year ago. Flight left at 5:30 pm, we had dinner, snacks, movies, slept, woke, breakfast. Movies. Then we landed and it was 4:30 pm the same day we left Japan! So you’ll get to live that day twice!
Really loving your videos! You make travel seem so accessible and the experiences you choose are often what I’d be looking for. IE: Kara & Nate’s stairway to heaven is cool to watch but not something my body would let me do 😜
Awww, looks like you've had an amzing start to your trip here. Hopefully next time you can come in summer and experience a different side to our coastal areas too. 😊
I hope we can make it there in the summer. Tony said he camped out on a beach near the northern tip of the island last time he was there, and the Milky way was over his head every night. Felt so close he could touch it, as he likes to say.
Mānawatia a Matariki ✨ Happy Māori new year to you both! Missing Rotorua today and stumbled upon your guys trip. Thanks for bringing me along was so much fun ✨
You would have loved 1. the Polynesian Spa (private alkaline pool with warm water and relaxing) and Kerosene creek (free activity recommended during winter months) 2. Luge
Just came across your videos for new zealand. welcome. I missed a day when i came back from europe (via Vanc as well). mine was may 11th this year ill never see. OMG i grew up on the same street as the receptionist from Te Puia. Was her name Teia? I am 38years old now but i was 13 years old when I left that street and moved to australia with my family. Thats amazing. I miss home. Rotorua has so many places to go for free for kids and adults, its definitely a tourist attraction site

😂 Sara"s face while tumbling down the hill LOL! You guys have the most fun, loving it
Glad you enjoyed! Her facial expressions had me laughing so hard while editing this.
New Zealand is AWESOME. I was able to visit several cities while I worked on cruise ships. Amazing sites, food, and people.
It really is all of that and more!

It's just been announced the latest AVATAR production is also going to be based here - down Wellington way, I believe.
I highly recommend doing the rewood tree walk at night, it's all lit up, so beautiful 😍
