Lets get the elephant out of the room and say that the 2018 is the year of manufacture from Hot Wheels with the actual car being made by Nissan from 1989 to 1994. A quick and easy makeover for this car on this outing showcasing my new decals which are now available from www.sk75works.co.uk .

I wish I could make those decals for hot wheels in my country... but in here that kind of paper for decals doesn't exist...
That was awesome ! I would keep that stock midnight blue Yokohama one along with the four race versions, simply add your photo-realistic headlights to it.
I over gorged on the R32, though they are all for customising and not buying up and selling on at a later date.... thats not my bag :)

Really looking forward to seeing what you come up with next, and honestly don't feel bad for having large gaps between uploads, your work is exceptional and the time it takes to do is understandable, you don't just do simple repaints or wheel swaps you go and remodel the interiors and come up bespoke decals for them! Amazing!

Hello Dave, "Matchbox Garage" has mentioned you in his latest video about the decals you make. I am a camera collector, restorer and I also collect 1:18 Scale die cast autos of cars I've actually owned. For example, I had a stock 74 Plymouth Duster. There are 1:18 scale Hemi-Dusters, I'll buy one re-paint it with my cars color and presently I'm trying to make a s 1:18 scale "Slant Six" which was in my car. That's basically what I do with my 1:18 Die Cast cars. I'll subscribe to you and continue to watch other 1:64 Die-Cast Matchbox and Hot-wheels You-Tubers to watch and learn and pick up on your skills painting and working with tiny parts, sometimes making your own. Cameras sometimes have metal appliques which are basically metal bits with a printed marking. They are usually missing and tough to make. So while I'm not very big on 1:64 I will enjoy your videos and learn from you. I'm a senior well along in my 70's and a belated welcome to You-tube. Good Luck to you and all who see this. Tom U.S.A.

Looking fantastic, these cars were literally the end of JTCC for how overpowered they were when compared to competition.
Loved how the JTCC GT-Rs were also so colorful with their color schemes, out of these 4 my favorite is the classic Calsonic Impul car, the team is still active to this day in Super GT which is impressive, although Calsonic doesn't exists anymore so I believe the name "Calsonic Impul" will sadly fade away. A lot of love for the STP Taisan car too which was driven by the legendary Keiichi Tsuchiya.

Absolutely masterful work as always! The Calsonic skyline is one of my favourite race cars of all time, along with the Mazda 787b and the Castrol Supra.

Thanks for clarifying that COPA nonsense. I had a feeling that it was B/S, and a solely American ruling, when people first started panicking about it. Your decals look superb - I can see myself ordering some - once my house is back to normality, and I have somewhere to play with my knives and paints. Those Hot Wheels Nissan models are really nice - and are the sort that if you see them, grab them, as they don't stay around for long. Both Hot Wheels and Matchbox have made models of the Datsun 510 from the 1970's. The Matchbox is a rally version, and it's nice, but... I'm sure you could make it look so much better.

Any of the Hot Wheels Nissans and Datsuns seem to just be... harvested by collectors, or more often 'Scalpers' who resell popular Matchbox and Hot Wheels models at inflated prices on ebay. The ones that really annoy me, are the ones who buy HW 5-packs, remove the model that everyone wants, replacing it with a common model, reseal the pack, and return it to the shop for a refund, and then selling the popular model for a profit. The Hot Wheels 'Speed Blur' 5 pack had a Datsun 510 Wagon in it - a very sought after model. I have seen at least five packs opened, resealed, and returned to various shops. I make a point of pointing these out to management, in case the same person tries it again. It's not fair on genuine collectors, and needs to be stamped out.
@@brianartillery yeah... some times in a Walmart... I see some packages wide open!!!... nobody see nothing... kids and older ppl steal hot wheels... is such a shame that ppl like that exist!!!!

If you can make a decal sheet with multiple's of just head and tail lamps.. maybe in manufacturer sets i think they be popular.

Wow, that's awesome! About the decals you're making, will you ever do decals of car badges? Like, for exemple, if I was to make a custom paint for that R32, I'd be missing all the Skyline and GTR badges.
Many thanks 🚗👍 . Yes I do add the badges, they're a bit small to spot the Nissan, Skyline and GTR are all there on the sheet. I could do separate sheets of just the basic badges and headlights I guess. Happy New Year 🎉
@@SidewaysKing75 Yeah, I was asking about separate, 'cuz I'm not too much into "organized" racing (tho, I'm not dumb and wouldn't street race) and sometimes, I do like the model as it is, but would change the color.
Killer work on the decals! I've always admired the skill you have using styrene. I would love to see you do I full engine out of styrene. Hahaha Ryan your right they were lacking in interiors when I was a kid. The thing is Hot Wheels still do smoked windscreens or even worse coloured ones but they do some great detail in there, its just hidden. Happy New Year 🎉
