What type of spray paint do you use? I have started customising models recently.. got most of the stuff already to start the basics, wheelswap, interior detailing etc, but I do not know which type of spray paint to use.. an airbrush wouldn't be suitable for me at this point in time that's why I'd love to know what spray paint you'd recommend (I also live in the UK)
When using cans I either use Tamiya TS Sprays or regular Automotive paints from Halfords. Both need primer first, well I use primer no matter what anyway even when using the Airbrush

I actually know Harry, Nick Whale's son. Not a 100% sure but, I recon the autotrader car has now been sold. It was up for auction in the last auction they did a month or so ago. Think they had 3 of their m3's up for grabs and possibly as a job lot? Another little fun fact for you. All bar one, original m3 e30s where all lhd. The one factory original rhd m3 e30 was sold new in Dublin and lived there for a while. There are a few rhd converted cars but not many! They are not worth the mega money of an original lhd tho! Any way, killer video bud! Hope business takes off for you as you're a top bloke and sell some quality products. 👌😉 Keep plodding on 👍
Many thanks Arron I really appreciate you watching and commenting. Thats great you know some history on the BTCC cars. Back on the 90's there was a local lad who had this M3 and for some bizarre reason his mate alwys used to sit in the passenger seat, as you say they were all LHD, but he'd sit in the passenger seat on the right with a steering wheel to pretend he was driving it to show off to the girls..... the mind absolutely boggles LOL! Merry Christmas 🏎🚓🚗🎄🎅👍
@@alanchen9377 Many thanks Alan I'll get the Audi's sorted soon! The E30 M3 used the BMW S14 four-cylinder engine, a high-revving DOHC design with a head closely based on that of the BMW S38 six-cylinder engine and the block from the BMW M10 four-cylinder engine later models were 6 and V8's then back to 6. Merry Christmas 🏎🚓🚗🎄🎅👍
Ha ha ha, what an awesome plot twist at the end! I finally tried my hand at one of these after watching all of your videos, had a Hot Wheels MK2 Golf GTi in Green and as I had owned a full sized one in Red, and still had some paint left over, it was pretty easy to make a replica of my own car. Might need to do a Honda City/ Willies Wheeler Hot Wheels next 😃 Keep up the awesome work, sorry to hear about the job, but hopefully (selfishly) it means more videos for us. All the best for the Christmas season to you and yours Chris.
Hi SK75, great choice of car and very nicely modified, a few years ago I bought a 1:18 Autoart of the same TicTac liveried E30 driven by Alen Berg, strange that you were drawn to the same sponsorship/colour scheme. It seemed a bit more interesting than the usual Fina and BMW red and blue striped versions, keep up the excellent work, can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the new year, Rich
Many thanks Richard I appreciate you watching as always. I do like the uncommon versions of race cars for some reason, when you've watched as many races and rallies as I have I get drawn to the ones that stick out abit more..... it took me years to figure out that they were actuallt Tic Tacs on the livery though LOL! 🏎🚓🚗🎄🎅👍
Yes the more unusual the better as long as it's appealing to the eye, trouble is unusual usually means more expensive when it comes to pre-built replica's, not that that's an issue for you as long as you have reference material! There was also a TicTac E30 with the green and white the other way around I believe, all the best, keep up the high standards, Rich
Hello Chris, I can only say "Great result as ever". The Tik Tak livery makes it even better. Seeing al the M3 variations, what a great surprise. Sorry to hear that you redundant, I'm hoping it's going to work out well. Merry Christmas and a creative 2021
Do you do you make your own buildings or garages if so how can I purchase one from you I am looking for a three door garage from my grandsons silhouette that I am building him for his birthday in June of 2021 thank
The amount of enmity that certain members of the petrolhead community have towards anything with less than 6 cylinders is daft. I bet those same people don't realise that many of the cars that they have so much obsession with (many Japanese models, the E30 M3 etc) have a 4cyl. At the end of the day, it's how they drive that matters, and the engine is only a part of that equation. Good to see a new vid, good work as always. Sorry to hear about the redundancy, but I hope you're able to make it work out. Something that's been bothering me for a while is the sound behind your title card. What car is it? It sounds 4cyl Japanese tuned?
Many thanks as always for watching and commenting I always appreciate it. The sound at the start is the 5 Cylinder Audi Quattro😁👍 Merry Christmas 🏎🚓🚗🎄🎅👍

That's A surprisingly good one, how about that Audi Quattro next time? (ps: I hope you can make the engine hinge on that thing, I saw a lot XD)
And you know e30 is a 6 cylinder.
@@SidewaysKing75 You too :) Have a great Christmas!
Might need to do a Honda City/ Willies Wheeler Hot Wheels next 😃
Keep up the awesome work, sorry to hear about the job, but hopefully (selfishly) it means more videos for us.
All the best for the Christmas season to you and yours Chris.
Many thanks as always Stuart, hope you had great enjoyment out of building one, I find it very relaxing. Merry Christmas to you all too 🏎🚓🚗🎄🎅👍
Good luck it is v very impressive. Have you come across BMW's art car collection by famous twentieth century artists including Andy Warhol?
Many thanks. I have seen some of them yes..... very niche 🏎🚓🚗😁👍
@@richardmoore3397 yes ill get round to the other Tic Tac version as I have a few more spare cars
Looking forward to all your 2021 and beyond build videos, have a great Christmas and creative New year!
Hello Chris, I can only say "Great result as ever". The Tik Tak livery makes it even better. Seeing al the M3 variations, what a great surprise.
Sorry to hear that you redundant, I'm hoping it's going to work out well.
Merry Christmas and a creative 2021
Where have you been. Been waiting to see a new project
Everything has been thrown at me this last month or so..... I've been run off my feet!
I will build gt wing of hot wheels bmw m3 e92
I truly wish you could buy a 2011 E30 😢
he did?
@@Arminoderso I meant a real one. I love the E30
@@Bugs-World but the real one isnt from 2011?
@@Arminoderso that’s exactly why they said they wish they could
Do you do you make your own buildings or garages if so how can I purchase one from you I am looking for a three door garage from my grandsons silhouette that I am building him for his birthday in June of 2021 thank
Yes Sir I make them available at www.sk75works.co.uk and ship worldwide... thanks for watching 🚙🏎🚗👍🏻
