Just fabulous! Leila Jane forever! ❤
Very evocative! Excellent performance :)
Lovely! 💚
Interesting vibrato❤
Very reminiscent of (a female version of) Ewan McColl.
This song was written for the 1949 play "Landscapes with chimneys" to cover a scene change. Leila Jane sings it so well you can attach your own nostalgia to it.
Brilliant song buetyfull voice does well x

WOW just loved ever minute of this, best cover I’ve heard of this. Thankyou
nice. one of my fav songs
Folky, Electro, Blues, Pop, R’n’B, Soul, Originals, Videos !!, it seems like you can do everything, what an amazing talent, that voice…..❤🎉😮😊
A true gift to the world of music! Thank you Leila 💕💕💕
The first song I learned when we started the secondary school in 1965. Coming from Clydebank the lyrics made perfect sense, Dirty Old Town is exactly what it was.
Love that song 💚🍀💚
One day I’ll come to Dublin and listen to you on Grafton Street x
Amazing vibrato
I have been thinking that Leila Jane's voice is familiar to me, and this song made me remember the recordings of Margie Rayburn. Margie was an American singer who had a single hit in 1957, called I'm Available. Her 1959 recording of Make Me Queen Again is the one that sounds, at least to me, most like Leila Jane doing Dirty Old Town. Two great voices in very different times.
@@Hopeless_and_Forlorn "I'm available" makes me think of Leila Jane's "I wouldn't say no."
@@Hopeless_and_Forlorn “Make me queen again”, yep their sure is a resemblance to LJ’s voice, mind you LJ sings in so many styles. Found it on youtube, thanks
Excelente interpretación en vivo Leila, está muy muy bien, enhorabuena una vez más y gracias por compartir tu trabajo, like 62
