Bro that damn Buffalo diamond extreme machine has got to be one of the worst bonus games I have ever experienced. More than 5 times in one session, I got $2 and below for the whole bonus! It was consistently doing this bs.
I've played every one of these machines... once. And yeah, I agree with your assessment in every case.
Played all of these, but I can't believe you left off Buffalo Ascension. I've hit several bonuses that have won $0-10 and it doesn't matter the bet. It's a brutal game.
There's a way to win big on it but you gotta do the "casino roach" tactic. I see it all the time specifically on ascension.

In my experience, both Huff and Puff games are absolutely horrible. The bonus is seemingly impossible to get and the line hits are horrible. Especially on huff and more puff. All the Money Link games are terrible too. The line hits are terrible on that one and the bonus is usually awful. Even the hold and spin will generally give you small numbers. Good fortune will almost always give you free games and they pay very poorly.

Cash falls is another one that sucks all of your money with little rewards.
How about Rich Little Piggies? We kept getting sucked in by the pigs looking like they were about to pop, but you never know when that actually will be. Pretty clever and deceptive at keeping people playing. I'd love to know how the metrics on that game compare to others in regards to average amount spent.
that is called perceived persistence. it has nothing to do with how close you are with winning the bonus. i believe the only thing it may tell you is how long it's been since that bonus has been hit, but does not guarantee any bonus to hit soon. someone can chime in to correct me if i'm wrong on the second part as that is just my speculation

Agree 100%! I never even tried Cha-ching - it looked so boring to me. My local has removed many of my favorite slots and replaced with the huge cabinet/lightning-link/bag games clones. They're ruining what used to be a very fun experience - a few hours of fun and potential to win at my local. Now, it's different. Not good.

I agree 100% with this list. On my last Vegas trip, I triggered bonuses on the Shamrock machine. The payouts were $6-10 total! Absolutely horrible

Personally , I prefer the 'classic' slots. But I do try the 'latest, greatest ' ones, just for the heck of it. When they try to reinvent the wheel, it just turns players away after the first try.

I got the bonus 5 spins on Shamrock Fortunes betting .88 a spin, won 5 cents, it triggered another 5 spins and I won a whopping 20 cents. Never again will I play it.

Played Coin Trio in Reno two weeks ago at $1.76. Three different machines... two at Harvey's (a >$700 major each) and one at Bally's where I won $1800 on $1.76. Put less than $50 in each machine before they hit. Yes buying a bonus is incredibly risky. But I'm a huge Coin Trio fan.
Thankfully, I haven't played any of these games. I prefer 3 reel old school machines !!

Vegas Matt played some of these. Buy a Bonus at a large denom seemed like a money pit to me...and most likely to him as well. He LOVES Regal Riches.

As for #1 not paying out on bonuses, I have always had the exact same issue with Dragon Rider. I think that's the name, anyway. I got up several thousand at Harrahs in NC a few years ago and decided to go for gold instead of leaving like I should.
Went to High Limit Dragon Rider and lost everything. When I got down to my last thousand, I said screw it, and I went up from $20 or $25 per bet to the max of $100/spin.
I think I had $200 left when I finally hit the bonus for the first time. I was SO relieved. I thought I'd at least get a few thousand back, maybe even get insanely lucky since it was a $100 bet.
Nope.
All I got from the bonus was $120. I almost picked up the chair and attacked the machine like the viral video. 😂😂

You nailed it on every single one. Shamrock has the worst bonuses ever. My mistake was first time I played I sat at a game that all pots were full. My bet was .10c dom, I think $10-15 spins and it hit all 3 pots in the first 3 spins. Jackpot. Ugh..then every time after nothing. Or 1 pot 5 spins and ZERO dollars. As I said before you nailed it thanks for the great video!

I totally agree with you. Except with coin trio…I bought a $500 bonus once and got the triple feature, winning $3250. I didn’t record it because everyone else was winning $250 on a $500 buy a bonus lol. Great content as always!

I think Coin Trio is actually a good play at the mid to lower wagers. It seems to hit some decent bonuses there while maintaining the bankroll awhile. Most of the criticism is with the Buy a Bonus feature. I try to share with anyone that it's a true sucker's bet that preys on my tilt.

I saw the Regal Riches which looked good on some vids but I did notice that it has a tremendous amount of bad/useless spins, does not have (or very rarely) wilds on the screen and for you to get the bonus feature takes forever. Awesome content as always! Maybe do a Keno "tips and tricks" with odds for how many numbers to play and all the different games out there? Keno is big in Northeast PA and I'm sure there are a bunch of people out there that would be curious. My two cents.
I completely agree on Triple Coin Treasures. The game LOOKS like it can be so fun, the idea of the bonus is so tempting...but the few times I've played the game, it just ended up sucking up all of my money. I thought maybe it was just particularly volatile, but I haven't played the game since. It's just not worth it to me when there are so many other better games out there.
Basically if a game is big and pretty, it will be volatile. Especially if it's a licensed game from a show or movie. Triple coin treasures is among the most volatile non licensed slot machine games.

Coin Trio is horrendous. I bought the $50 bonus on 1c and it gave me $19.47. Regal riches is also terrible. Played it one time until I got into the bonus which was 90ish wilds and what I was left with made me never play it again 😂. I was shocked at the #1 game because I've killed it more than once on it making $800+ but it has also done me dirty so I stopped playing it. Awesome video ❤

I agree with all of the games except regal riches. I have won hundreds of dollars so many times on that game with free games on low bets. The first time I played I won $900 on around a $3 bet. I can usually play for a while on lower bets. I do agree that the line hits aren't great unless you are in the free game bonus. One time I accidentally played on 5 cent denom and won a lot. I couldn't believe it. Then my husband told me I was on 5 cent denom. Haha I think I was playing around $7 bets without realizing it.

I'm surprised that new Frankenstein game didn't make the list. I've seen multiple videos on it. & I've only played it once, but that game imo has the most deadspins of any slot slot machine I've played in the last 29 years! The worst game eve. The other game that even comes close is the South Park game a few years back.Not fun at all!

I was with you until #1. I actually won the Grand at Choctaw on Triple Coin Treasures (Shamrock version) and now it's my fav. Cant wait for the new version shown at G2E. However, after visiting a few casinos across the country, I have observed that these machines seem to have abysmal bonuses when they are not multi denoms. If I'm at a new place and see it is only allowing pennies, I will pass it up now. I will sulk a little because it is my fav....lol....but I will only play the multi denom version.

Love the channel Brantley, call it luck maybe, but I think I’ve won pretty fair on Regal Riches. I’ve won the major twice (both $400.00 +) and both came right around 75 - 85 wilds, and the must hit is set at 100 for the major I believe. I was surprised to see this one on the list.
Yea I love watching regal riches especially on Vegas Matt channel, they have been wrecked by it and also won gigantic amounts too I think it is a fun game
They installed a bank of Cha-Ching machines at my local casino about a month ago. When they were new they were very popular. Just a few weeks later it's like they may as well not even be on the floor because they are always empty. It's been my experience that they usually give an opportunity to leave with a small win and it's best to take it. They are dreadful over an extended play.
Spot on about Regal Riches. My last time out I played it and finally hit the free games on it. It wasn't good at all. Like you said it acts like it is doing a lot but simply doesn't when you do the math.
As far as the leprechaun game it very well may be the absolute worst game ever made. I stay away from leprechauns and dragons.
I don't like any of the Asian theme games. I just think the graphics are too busy and it's hard to tell the difference in some of them. Plus, I don't think the payouts are good. Same with a really popular one, Top Dollar. Terrible payouts.

Totally agree on Regal Riches! I saw a slot guy play it so I’ve tried it a few times and it sucks! Money sucker! It’s one of those games where you finally get the bonus thr it’s way less than you invested! Btw Cowboy slots, I went to MGM Hrand to play cherries jubilee. I actually was down to my last $9 out of $500 when I hit the jackpot. I then moved to another CJ machine and won another jackpot a few minutes later. Thanks for the tip!

I agree with your picks. I’ve had some luck on these slots but the payouts are not that great.
Shamrock Fortunes has been a love/hate game for me, more often leaning on the "hate" side since the bonuses have typically been poor. Unless you get all three bonuses at the same time, the payouts are typically dismal at best (I've seen $0.00 before) which is infuriating. I have noticed that the higher denoms tend to be a little forgiving and have hit for a few hundred dollars on multiple occasions - but after a bonus, I'll do a couple of back-spins and then get out since (in my experience), it seems to dry up for the next hundred or so spins. I've not played the other four and have not seen the first three mentioned here in Michigan - now I know to steer clear should they pop up. Thanks!
I actually won the grand prize on this game! And every time I play it, it has paid me at least $400 - I usually bet $1.60. But when I won the grand, I put $100 in and bet $8. It had already paid me the major ($900). I have fun playing it 😊
I played it for the first time last weekend. Was $80 in and hit a triple pop $500+ bonus on a $4 bet. Took my winnings and got up.
Regal Riches was briefly one of my favorite games at higher denom, especially if the Wilds were already built up. Lower denom though even the bonus games are a complete waste of time- tons of noise and effects and you win $8.

I agree with you, the shamrock ☘️ riches did not give me baloney in the free bonus games and siphoned money. After 100 dollars in the machine and 3 dead spins on all bonus games, I ran away as fast as I possibly could. Another casino player even told me to take my money and find something else to play. Should have listened.
I agree Cha-ching is definitely one of the worst games to be playing at the casino.
I will agree with the Leprechaun game. It takes a long time to get the bonus, and the payouts are underwhelming. I did win a couple times on it, but they were flukes. As for Coin Trio, I don't agree. I have had a lot of luck with them. They generally hit when the pig is tall on the platform and wearing his hat. However, when you get all 3 to hit, it is many times a disappointment, because at the beginning, it randomly fills the board with 5 coins, and leaves the 3 original colored coins, which means you only have 7 spaces to fill during the bonus, and most likely you will not get the entire board and get the GRAND jackpot, so you really have only about 6 spaces to fill, and it doesn't retrigger the colored coins often. I find when you get only 2 pigs, the payouts are better.
That Shamrock Fortunes is love/hate for me. One day triggered all three pots on the 10¢ $8 bet level for a hand pay, then again two spins later for another. But there are times when I trigger a bonus and only get 50¢ back.

A great video and very important...unless you wanna go broke or go to sleep playing one of them. My personal opinion is that zero dollar bonuses should not be allowed...at least 2X your ante minimum. And the overkill on wilds...i have seen it played and chasing the bonuses...very expensive and not alot of bang unless you get a boatload of wilds that line up AND pay.

@sweetkandee1582 Its Lightning Link High Stakes; and I do the 10 cent denomination and do .50 per line and it's 50 lines so it's just $5.00 per bet. Sometimes if I'm playing with a larger amount I will do $1.00 to $1.50 per line. When the bonus rounds hit & the amounts you can win are bigger - wow!! 😀
Regal Ritches is only good if the “must hit “ feature is close. Then, you can almost guarantee either a small loss, break even, small win, or Huge win. But you won’t get wiped out if you have the coin to ride the wave until the “must hit” feature smacks.
Also, the wilds aren’t the issue it’s the payback for em- so keep the wilds- just be a little more generous .
I really hate games that go all wild and make a lot of noise like you won a ton of money but dont actually win much. Ive also played games where you get a ton of free games but win absolutely nothing. I knew winstar was rigging their games when i won free games and didnt recieve not even a dime.

I've personally seen shamrock fortunes pay out over a few grand in one night. You are right about the dead spins and hard to hit the bonuses but it is possible. I won a grand off it one weekend.

Nothing to do with this video, but I finally found a Pinball I could afford. It was “Double Gold Pinball” at Tamarack casino in south Reno. You say it’s your favorite, so I tried it. This one you need 3 Pinball symbols across. I played 0.25 cents times 9 lines. Hit the bonus 3 times in 10 minutes. I did your method of using a cash out stopping point. Put in $50 into the machine, cashed out $160. Adjusted the cash out up a bit after each win, from $60 to $125 to $160. Fun game, especially this version with all the shiny flashy symbols in it !
