Impressed with Ryan’s progression as a pilot. Hope to see him continue with it. Learning study-level airplanes is _DAUNTING_ but man is it satisfying when you can fly something complex entirely on your own. I remember the first time I flew the PMDG 747 and the feeling of accomplishment after weeks of learning the airplane.
I just got P3D again to experience the PMDG 747 again and boy I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed it. It’s so fun to fly, and the FMC is so damn easy to use. I just have to work out the small things now like how to enter NAT TRACKS into the FMC
Honestly it is more impressive to fly a piston on sixpack at IFR checkride level than it is to fly a glass 'study level' airliner. The rule of thumb for aviation is that you typically get paid more the easier the flying is
THIS IS SO COOL!! I love watching you both fly. I played so much fs when I was a kid. I had all the joysticks and everything. I lost that when my parents split but you guys both flying so much got me back into it and I got MSFS2020 and rekindled that flame and I’ve put in over 200 hours again. I’ve been waiting for the day you all flew together cant wait!
I will be clearing these to land and takeoff at LAX next month finished my ATC training and courses a few weeks ago my first day at work is next Monday I’m nervous but excited
Crazy seeing the ramp that I worked on a few years back during my stint as a Cargo Load Agent/Loadmaster for Atlas Air on MSFS... Brought back some good memories of working on the beast that is the Mighty 747!
It's really cool to see you two in such a different setting, not only from _GTA_ RP, but also to see you so supportive and nurturing of Ryan's development of this passion. Really cool to hear how far he's come and hope to see more of this kind of collaborative content with you two!
I was wondering if this collab was ever going to happen. At the movement this is a mod/addon like Jeff mentioned, however it is an officially planned feature that MSFS is going to have as per their feature wish list they releases periodically. Will be great to see some native implantation of shared cockpit flying soon. The Feature at this point in time is planned but their is no info on timeline on when its coming out. Just some info to share if anybody is wondering.
Always cool to see a little homage to Australian Aviation in conjunction with American Aviation, with the Qantas logo on the bottom of the nose cone and on the side just under the windows there. For those that don't actually know what Qantas stands for although I image most would at this point, Qantas is short for "Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Services" Also really cool to see Ryan getting properly into aviation and doing so well with it! It's actually refreshing to see that from Ryan honestly :)
Kudos to Ryan, he is going to be a great pilot and can't wait to see his content. Especially when you guys do some together! It doesn't hurt to have a good coach (Jeff)!
Wish i knew guys like you two to learn the sim. I have flight sim but rarely fly since it's just me by myself. Love watching you two and bugs, such a great trio.
This was awesome I enjoyed it alot and it was so awesome watching yall fly together and it's really coo lto hear how far Ryan has come. Anyway keep up the great work much love to ya have a good one take care God bless and I will see ya on the one next one catch ya later
This is awesome to finally see. I have been impressed how quickly Ryan has pick up everything. I hope you both decide to continue making videos like this together and maybe even doing some streams.
Great flying Jeff also Butter the Bread on that landing nice! Also Proud of Ryan as your Co Pilot as Mav once said "you can be my wingman anytime" Keep up the great content brother!
The fact that there is a mod to allow 2 people to fly one aircraft is amazing. As a student at the University of North Dakota as an aviation student, it makes me giddy. I miss flying on my PC and this just makes me want to get started again. Thank you so much Jeff and Ryan for doing this
Nothing new, myself and a friend used Aerosoft's shared cockpit in the A320. Mostly worked but was a little temperamental. I believe the Majestic Q400 had it as well.
Bravo MSFS for the landing stutter 😂😂..other than that..pretty much well flown...hoping to see more Shared Cockpit flights ...Ohh and @Ryan, you've earned 🎉🎉my subscription
@@jfavignano Prior to takeoff, at the gate, we select LNAV and VNAV on for the departure. Don't wait to do it until after takeoff. Of course that's assuming that MSFS allows it to be selected on the ground.
Damnit, Jeff... You guys are responsible for me getting into Wreckfest, getting GTA V... Y'all are gonna get me to finally buy Flight Simulator too, aren't you?
i think x-plane is the best simulation game. It's true that the graphics of MSFS are really top and it's nice. But with x-plane we feel like a real pilot 👨🏽✈️
Man this is so cool. I’ve never really been one to watch flight sim vids but watching you and ryan is so amazing lol. Also didn’t know it’d get that tense with the limited visibility at the end :D
I would like to have your controls working on two computers in the same house on the same network. I've read where people have had trouble running two copies on the same network even though they purchased two copies. I would like to know the correct way of purchasing the second copy and running the two computers at the same time in the same house. Thanks in advance and great videos
BEAUTY landing
If Airforceproud says it's a beautiful landing, it's a beautiful landing

The salty 747 is nowhere near study level 💀
@@vjc3818 he’s talking more about the PMDG 737 and Fenix a320

That is literally my office! Cant wait until someone smarter than me makes a study-level model of this wonderful machine!
the shot at 14:48 looks amazing
Weather looks about right, it's been like this all over California for months

Amazing professionalism, I'd love to see a "Ryan View" so we can see what goes on his side 🙂
Both of y’all need to try out VTOL VR. They recently added a multicrew training jet too!
Love it even more that it's a QANTAS freighter owned Atlas Air, 747-8f being from Australia
what a beautiful aircraft she is a beauty awesome video Jeff and Ryan
Form like Voltron!
So happy to see this.
Great flying as always Jeff to be honest I'm very impressed with Ryan's progress of learning to fly planes❤
I'd love to see the both of you playing a bit of DCS sometime in the future.
Very nice flight with ryan!Would be great to see you 2 on the vatsim network.

I was on a solo, when i heard the guys ferrying your new pipers up from Florida over tennesse!
It was a feature in FSX multiplayer

I would love to see you guys on vatsim one of these days - from a vatsim tower controller
Hell yeah, about time. Heres hoping they add PDMG 737 series and hopefully some Fighter jets to the list
More of these please!
Wish I had someone to be able to do this with, so cool, love flying the sims and in real life as well

love this flight sim content!!! kepp it up jeff!
Even tthough I am from an Airbus family... Man the 747 is an absolute beauty of an aircraft! No argument here
Love the flight sim videos man absolutely awesome 👨✈️✈️
Great flight sir!
Love ❤️ your videos Jeff 😊
Great footage as usual.
Another butter landing from Jeff! CivRyan is a great FO!
So glad you're doing more flight sim. ive missed it!
Great Job Jeff as allways!
Nice job Ryan!!
Hi Jeff! For the localizer to capture you need to put the autopilot engage mode to CMD L,C and R 😅. Cool video regardless!
Hey cool! We're going to have a booth at Flight Sim Expo (I live in Houston), I hope to meet you there!
As an Atlas Air 747 pilot, very nice! I'm waiting impatiently for PMDG to release their 747 for MSFS.
Same! Thanks for the kind words 😁
Also as an Atlas 747 pilot, I was correcting everything as they went along.

I find it funny that even in the 3rd person view of the landing that the recording still showed the stutter that Jeff experienced.
Northen Alex, Speirs and CivRyan
Jeff knows some really cool Canadians LOL
Hey Jeff! Normally don't watch MSFS but this seems interesting! Keep up the great work!
Be safe in Missouri heard its getting bad up there
So amazing
It would be cool if you could see the other player

Awesome thank you!
Fantástic 👍
Love the plane videos.
CivRyan??? Never heard of him! HAHAHA
Not flying for Spirit?
hey jeff awesome video you should do a live with ryan with the shared cockpit that would be cool
To remove stutter play with develepor mode on.
Hey Jeff are you still current to fly with your PPL? You should do some vlogs again flying. Maybe pursue your instrument rating.
@Jeff Favignano, you should introduce Ryan to vatsim and do a flight on that program, bro. 👍
Poppa Oscar momma, if ykyk
Jeff I don’t know about anyone else but I’d like to see more of you and CivRyan in flight sim. Is there any plan of that?
yes
@@jfavignano awesome! Can’t wait for more of this content. Love it!
How does the share cockpit work? Its awesome
Beacon always stays on, it's just the strobe lights when you're entering or crossing a runway.
mhm
Wow Ryan. This is amazing. Never seen you so calm 😂😂😂 love this Jeff and ryan
Butter!
Great to see Your Controls working so well and Ryan catching the flight sim bug. Getting excited for World Flight this year.
Love the video ❤
You need to do an OCRP Server for flight sim with atc

Hey Jeff I’m a big fan I wondered can you do a OCRP off duty cop?
Is it a good addon? What are the "salty bits" haha?
How do you play together like that it looks awesome
your controls
nice
Werees the atss??
this should be base feature from Asobo
Flying high 👍 keep them video's coming guys...RIVERRAT3030
Jeff do you think I need a 3090 to run this game
Was he in the cockpit
You should fly American eagle CJR 900\ next
What was the your control settings?
how do you do shared cockpit?
where do you get the takeoff trim value?
Which mean Jeff and Ryan control the same flight or they have each of their own?
they control the same flight.
Can some guide for shared cockpit gameplay
Can you fly to San Juan Puerto
Hand off the power levers at V1!
LOL not when you are shared cockpit on the Salty 747
747 🥇
If he's worried about gatekeeping, just avoid the AVSIM forums. Otherwise very friendly community.
Whys there passenger window in Atlas Air? Its cargo
I think they usually have windows there bc iirc it’s where the crew sleeps?
