i found the sole in my downshifter 7 without any nike sign or nike swoosh signature! is it normal for this particular model ? and yes the tongue bar code and box barcode don't match ? is it an issue and lastly the in-tongue bar code don't show any product result in Google search. I'm satisfied with the fit and finish of these pair of shoes but the few nick nacks bothers me. Should i worry or is it normal ?
Make sure to TRY ON before you buy. And buy the pair you try on. Don't order them online. I tried a pair on in the store and bought three online. One pair was perfect. The other two had problems with the right shoe. The lefts were great, but the rights were totally messed up and unwearable. I think the sole was molded off-kilter or something. I returned these two and ordered replacements. One pair was great. The other had the same right shoe issue. So that's 2 out of 5. Not great chances.
No offense, but I don't think you understood my initial comment. There is no problem with SIZING of these shoes. The sizes are true and correct. It was a problem with the right shoe on several pairs that I purchased. They were misshaped, or mismolded. That would be a better term. The size was fine, but the framework of the shoe was just way off, making your foot not sit in the correct position.
very, very good shoes (for me). it is very comfortable and Light in weight. now i bought the same but the new Downshifter 8, in again.. the All Black colourway. and i only use them for work. i have tried their EXACT brothers: the Nike's Quest AND Run Swift.. but there is no match for them in the Comfort and Lightweight department of the Downshifter's 7 and 8.
