    I stayed up all night making this piece just because I had all of the stuff. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I feel as if I have been given keys to unlock a magical realm of my own creativity. I'm truly amazed and cannot stop staring at it. Thank you so much. I am going to go and share what I have learned with others.

    As an artist who struggles with being a perfectionist, I love and appreciate the fact that you own your mistakes and you don't let them stop you. You keep going and even incorporate those mess ups into your art. I hope one day that I can force myself to do the same. It would make art easier and more enjoyable honestly.

    I hope you're an affiliate with Amazon. You could earn a bit of $ whenever someone takes your link to a product (as I plan on doing to get the flat wire, lol!). I really appreciate you leaving in the mistakes. So many others cut them out because they don't want to show anyone they're not perfect (and nobody is!!!), but I've learned soooo much from seeing how you take a problem (like scratching it, wow, have I done that a zillion times!!!) and making it into an asset. I was making a ring the other day and the wire just didn't go the way I wanted it. I was ready to scrap the whole thing and then I thought, I'll bet Yvonne could make it into something nice. So I left it aside for a little bit, watched a few more of your videos, and then came back and added in something. Not what I planned, but it's better than scrapping it all.

    Hi, I've made some beautiful eyes using your method and thank you for the tutorials. I'm having a problem mounting them though - I've been using quick-hold from the same company that makes E-6000, but it melts the nail enamel and has ruined some of them. Please, remind me what you do after painting of the eye is done, and what adhesive you use. especially for mounting the eye to a flat backer like a gear. Thanks and thanks for all your wonderful tutorials!

    This is simply gorgeous, Yvonne! I watched your Dragon Eye of Sauron Tutorial, and have been practicing on $ store glass stones, but bought some good quality 25mm ones yesterday to try. I've fallen in love with dragon eyes :) Your tutorials are so detailed and make it easy, thank you so much for sharing all the details, and mistakes. You make it easy jump in a try things. The flat wire on this one seems to have a copper finish in the video, but I see the link takes me to silver wire. Am I confused?

    I'm currently into beading but I'm thinking of expanding to include wire wrapping as its so pretty! Is this design something that could be mounted on a piece of leather to make a bracelet or even a choker (I would use a smaller eye for a choker lol) and how would one go about getting it to stay to the leather? Would you epoxy it? Or sew it on?

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  7 років тому +1

      Hey, Lucinda! In my experience they play well together, but I always make sure the modpodge is completely cured; its water based so as far as I am aware it should be non-reactive.
