This video is not sponsored, and I don't earn any affiliate money from them either. It's one hundred percent unpaid, unbranded, and my absolutely honest thoughts.

If there are brands not listed in my description that are retro/vintage themed and you're curious about them, let me know! I am trying to set aside a little bit of budget to be able to review more, and you can always help out too via Ko-Fi (linked in my description) if you want to! No obligation to do so, but it does help get things done faster! Thank you all, always, for being here and listening and chatting with me! xoxo
Hi Kristina! Loved this video :) I would say that Dolly and Dotty, www.dollyanddotty.co.uk/ can be an inexpensive version of The Pretty Dress Company. I've definitely been interested in their dresses, and people have talked about liking their dresses, but I've been skeptical! I'd love a review of them!
@@kaylaglendenning689 I will! I have actually worked with them in the past, but it's been YEARS and I'd love to update and review the quality!
@@WithLoveKristina Oh awesome!! oh I completely forgot! Vivien of Holloway! I lurk on their site constantly, but they're just a bit out of my price range right now. It would be amazing to see if they were worth the money!
@@WithLoveKristina Rock 'n Romance and Rock 'n roll emperium
“Breastfeeding friendly” - Yes! This is the information I need. I wish there was more info out there about pregnant/nursing friendly outfits.
This is absolutely information I had wished I'd had when I was pregnant and breastfeeding, so it's totally something I'll be including in the reviews!
I came to the comment section to say this same thing! So much appreciated.
I recently discovered you and you are just delightful. You are one of those magical individuals who seems to glow from within ✨
This is so sweet of you to say!
A fun note, we have the same measurements and I'm a UK 20-22! I thought i couldn't wear dresses from this company - now i feel empowered to try!
I love this idea for a series--I never know what brands to look for. Will definitely be watching anything else you have to say on the subject
I'm REALLY excited that people like the idea, I've been wanting to do this for soooo long, and I really enjoy talking about brands to be honest. I kind of want to be the person I wish I had known when I was getting into retro and vintage fashion!
I like the filming space with lovely vintage pictures 😊
Thank you! I love them, some are thrifted and some are my grandparents!
Rewatching this as I want to ask for a pretty dress company dress for Mother’s Day. This was just as helpful the second time around!
You make everything you wear beautiful. Your eye for what suits you from color to fittings are remarkable. You're very encouraging.
Oh thank you soooo much! I recently found your channel and i am so excited! I haven’t been able to find anyone wearing true vintage in a similar size to me! And hardly anyone dressing vintage in the US! I live in MO and we are very very close to the same size! I am a bust size of 45, waist of 39, hips of 47. I have been discouraged because the largest sizes I could find were 3-5 inches too small! I am now so excited and feel so much more hopeful! Thank you! I have been binging your channel and am now subscribed!🥰
As a new buyer in this community, this video is so helpful! Thank you so much for all you do ❤
I'm so glad it's helpful! I wish I had started earlier, to be honest!
I love your setup and the wall art behind you! Love all the vintage vibes :) The black dress with flowers on it looks so dreamy on you! Okay actually all 4 dresses look so beautiful, such great quality and feel like they are perfect for your style!
Thank you! My grandparents are in a couple of those pictures, I sort of based the whole wall around them!
I'm so excited for this series!! I never know what brands are actually good quality. You are beautiful, and I love the outfits you put together!
Yay thank you! I'm soo happy everyone is as excited for this series as I am!
I'm very excited about this video. You have great ideas . Love the background.. oh girl that broach is way to cute!!! And stunning dress.. keep theses video Going my friend omg those invisible zippers .. nope nope annoying agree very much !.. this video has given me great insight on shopping vintage... Kristina you rock.
Thank you, I just ordered a great skirt from them and signed up to be notified when my size in two other items comes back up!
Oh I hope you enjoy! They have gooorgeous prints and cuts!
You’re absolutely stunning! This is my new favorite channel and I can’t wait to order a beautiful floral dress.😍Thank you!
Awww, this is so sweet of you to say!
Also add me to the “I hate invisible zip” club. But I am weird and prefer a metal zip, so there’s that. 😂
ME TOO THOUGH. Metal zippers are QUEEN
Add me to the "hates invisible zippers" club!! They are too flimsy
Right? I don't think I've ever had a dress with an invisible zipper that didn't fail me after a few wears, it's disheartening!
Love this concept. Some of my favorite retro brands went the way of the dodo during the pandemic, so I'm looking for some alternate options. That tilly pink rose dress is amazing.
Lindy Bop **sobs**
But yeah, I wish I'd had more of a guide of where to go to shop for retro clothing, because I had NO idea a few years ago.
@@WithLoveKristina Yeah Lindy Bop broke me heart. I wear a Lindy Bop dress at least once a week. They seem almost impossible to find second hand.
Love love love!!😍
Thank you!
Loved this!
Yay thank you!
Love it. I live in America. I’m happy to see places to buy awesome clothes. Thank. Love your show
It's always nice to find new places to shop! Thanks for watching!
My granddaughter and I love pockets :-) and I like full flowing skirts. in need of Vintage Aprons for cooking in the kitchen please?
I hate invisible zippers! Even when I'm at my smallest, it's a hassle. No one likes them, and why do I care if someone sees a zipper? How do you think I got this on, magic? #freethezipper
LOL FREE THE ZIPPER. Yeah, invisible zippers are the worst.
Thank you so much ! Great advice and information. Blessings! 🙂
Thank you!
@@WithLoveKristina 🙂
Hello. Thanks so much. Very interesting info about sizes in the UK. Thank so much.
Glad it was helpful!
Your perspective is so so useful. As soon as you mentioned your abdomen, I was like dang! She’s detailing everything. I struggle with that, too... I had a baby as well. I love that you’re doing these reviews bc I cannot afford vintage in my size
Yeah, these are useful things that nobody talks about, so I'm here to do that! And, I'll be detailing some MUCH more affordable brands, this was just the one I'd always meant to start with lol.
@@WithLoveKristina lol! I feel you. Some things are definitely worth the price tag!
@@desertrat5543 They really are! And, their sales make them more easily affordable. I'm eyeing several dresses right now hoping they go on sale, ha!
I had no idea about the zipper!! I thought it was just me!!!
Wonderful reviews, will be remembering this video when and if I buy from this company. Thank you. 😊
Oh my goodness Ruby they have some dresses you would LOVE!
@@WithLoveKristina I am sure they do from what I have seen... my wardrobe is over flowing tho so it won't be for some time... plus leaning more towards cottage core looks so trying to clear out and or only add what works, but you never know.
Check out the company Heart My Closet. They have a website and Etsy store by the same name. I have not personally ordered from them yet but the styles are EVERYTHING that I adore. I was looking at the Pretty Dress company since Inspired by Nikki channel mentioned them and now you. I loved the patterns I saw. Thank you for your review 🌷🥰
Haha well it's been asked more than once now, so they're on my list to save up and try! They are gorgeous!
Great information and all your dresses are so beautiful! 💕
Not really familiar with all brands, but your vlog wants me to look up for them! 😁
Thank you very much for sharing my friend! Big Like 37🤩
Thanks for watching! Haha, hopefully i can recommend some good brands if you ever are searching!
@@WithLoveKristina That would be great! I love all dresses you showed in your video! 😍
Loved the video thank you so much! I know there are not vintage and I never buy them new but the Lularoe Amelia dress with a petticoat under it and the right underwear. It looks vintage-esk. That dress has pockets and a lovely metal zipper that runs down the back. Does anyone else rock the Amelia?
Oh if you have instagram you should look at instagram.com/katiecatvintage/ - she rocks a lot of LuLaRoe in a vintage way!
I love dresses with top section like what you are wearing in presenting this video i have pcos which has a multitude of symptoms and that style is able to hide alot of them and still look really cute. I love your earrings but I think you are a brave woman for wearing them with babies. I don't have any babies of my own (not from lack of want) but my nephews when they were little and my great niece right now dangling earring are let dangerous as they like to grab hold of them.
It's a Caterina dress from Collectif! HIGHLY recommend, they are super comfortable and have stretch, I have sooo many of them.
Also, earrings with babies: Freya doesn't care as much about my earrings as Irene did, so I don't have to hide them from her much! Haha!
I so agree about invisible zippers and lining! Both can make a dress that SHOULD fit impossible. 😖
Exactly! I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I hate the invisible zippers, too!!
RIGHT? Why are they a thing, they're the worst!
Use velvet hangers they are amazing at keeping any dress hang without slipping
Haha, I was holding a velvet hanger with that black one. ;) I have all velvet hangers, but that one just doesn't want to stay on ANYTHING.
Can you do "heartmycloset"? I drool over all those dresses. Thanks.
You're the second person to request this! I'll add them to my list and save up to try them! They're SO dreamy.
New subscriber here I love your videos 💖
Thank you!
I don't know if you ever have ordered from them but a couple companies I want to try but can't afford to take a risk on are Weekend Doll and Vivian of Holloway! Also would totally love to see some on Seamstress of Bloomsbury and Dressy.fi
So I'm going to be reviewing Rockn Romance vintage, which I believe is owned by the same people who run the Seamstress of Bloomsbury! I do see a few things on SOB that I kind of want to try, but it'll be interesting to see if they are at all similar in quality.
I'll add all of these to my list!
(side note, though, Seamstress of Bloomsbury is even less size inclusive, so a lot of their stuff doesn't even come in my size. They tend to only come in up to a 32 or 34" waist and I'm a 35-36" waist right now.)
Great, I'm looking forward to your reviews! I'm so glad I found your channel a couple years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I've gotten so much encouragement and inspiration from you and your awesome attitude about your changing body and being a mama who still takes care of herself. ❤️
Do you have advice on what kind of bra to wear with the Tilly dress? Or is it made it be worn braless?
i'm so interested in what you'll say about PUG lol
lol, well, I've only ever bought them secondhand annddd the rest of it's gonna be interesting, to say the least!
hello! what is your waist size in inches? I am still confuse what to buy
Hey,by the way, what is that vase called behind you?Because I been wanting one, but I just can't get the name of them.
It's a pitcher and washbasin! I found it at Goodwill, of all places!
@@WithLoveKristina OKay,thank ya ,thank ya,I'm so excited!!! Love your video s by the way!Keep them up girl your doing so good.
I feel like having the Bespoke line where you can custom order sizes it hitting the bar for plus size inclusivity. But the bar is abysmally low. :/
YES. This is something that I thought about a lot after I filmed it, and I think I might just make a video about size inclusion and all of that on its own, because there are SO many brands that don't have a big size range and it's a problem.
I'm interested in plus size vintage.
I'll definitely be talking about brands that include plus sizes!
Yes girl I haaaate some invisible zippers they are the 😈! 😜
YUP! lol
