In this clip, Insane Clown Posse reflects on the origin of their beef with Eminem, which at one point was escalated when Slim Shady heard their parody record "Slim Anus" live on the air at a local radio station. Ultimately their feud was dissolved when Proof intervened and squashed everything, which leads ICP to note how much they respect and honor's the late rappers legacy. At one point in the segment, they mention how they initially wanted to attend Proof's funeral out of respect for what he meant to Detroit, though they decided not to simply out of respect for Eminem.

Man I remember that beef like it was yesterday., and I was happy as hell to hear Eminem shout icp out 3 diff times on the MMLP2. It’s cool to see them finally admit all these years later that they actually respect each other. Legends 💯
It's hard to listen to ICP and ever say they're not knock down drag out hilarious and that they didnt have some banging tracks. So underrated. Carnival of carnage is a banger start to finish. One of the funkiest and funniest rap records I ever heard. Shit gets me pumped. Way more than most of eminem's shit after marshall mathers. I'm glad they squashed it too.
What songs did Em shout out ICP on the mmlp2?
The song brainless, and on a bonus track, I’m not sure which one but I think it was called “groundhog day” and there was something else on another song I can’t remember which one. But he mentioned them multiple times, it was pretty dope after all those years of them hating each other lol
on a music to be murdered by track he says 'the clown, icp, r kelly sex tape i see pee'
What did he say exactly
ICP: Man it meant so much for Proof to come at us himself.
Vlad: Yeah, because he’s Eminem’s best friend.
ICP: No, that didn’t matter, we mean just the fact that it was Proof himself. It was terrible when he died.
Vlad: Yeah, that was tragic, because Eminem was really sad.
ICP: No, it was tragic because Proof himself was a legend.
Vlad: Yeah, R.I.P. Eminem’s friend Proof.

Most people who are real artists don't like to be controlled cause they have pride in their art, michael jackson and tupac fits in this role they were ok with being conteolled to a point but because they are legit artists they were "difficult" to tell them what to do, say, wear, act, sing about etc. the ones who are OK with being totally controlled are most of the time really bad at their art and carry no real pride or connection with their art, they just wanna get rich and famous simply. Well they're white so 🤷🏿♂️
Mgk still successful haha 💀😂😂
By the time that flyer was handed out they already had a platinum album, working on they 2nd. Just sayinggg.
That's because of the support they get from the juggalos
I mean never was mainstream afterwards like they had before the beef and most artist will always make a good living even if we don’t hear from them anymore.
Was never a fan of their music, but they seem like down to earth dudes. They’ve stayed strong for a long time, can’t knocc on that. 💯
Idk why i keep seeing half handed complimentary comments, "not a fan of their music but i respect them" type shit. Smh 🙄🤦
@@Ridley_Lockhart didn’t want to go there but you did. Their music sucks lmfao. There’s a full-handed compliment for ya. 😂

Mr. Shaggs please wait your turn.
Legend has it, Shaggs is still interrupting J.
Well, J does 99.999% of the talking so Shaggy has to get a word in whenever he can.

Whats crazy is that in my circles back when we were teenagers we liked them and eminem. Both ICP & Eminem were part of the after school jam sessions. The beef aint needed at all.

Did you guys know that Proof squashing the beef meant a lot to Violent J?
No, i was hoping he was going to tell us but then he said he couldnt tell us how much.... Dah well
I wonder, on a scale of nothing to "a lot" it really meant to them.
The make up keeping the tears from coming down he sounds like he on some shrooms and like he about to hiccup burp or start stuudering big up proof for making lots of moments for fat dude from Austin powers

Didn’t even think about that 🤯🤯🤯that’s awesome
Finally met both the guys recently at the Gathering of the juggalos. Even if you don't like their music, they're just awesome, outstanding, good people. They made every effort to give extra time to the fans, even signed my girlfriends backpack. Had a whole ass conversation about the meaning of souls recognizing each other with Shaggy, and talking to J was so smooth and interesting that my girlfriend was convinced we real life knew each other. I've been a fan since 04, ICP and twiztids music has helped me through a great deal of adversity, and in one (probably 20 minutes long) conversation, I honestly felt a freedom and optimism inside myself that I personally thought died years ago. Respect for eminem too, rap God himself, of course. But I don't feel like meeting him would have been anywhere near as delightful and energizing as meeting ICP. Plus an extra shoutout to violent J for enduring through his condition all in the name of family. What legends. Sorry this is so long
good for you, i know this sounds rude in a way, but i mean it, like thats good for you

It is interesting how both camps became highly successful in their own lanes. Em was one of the biggest selling rap stars of all time were as ICP was one of the biggest underground labels that never stopped pushing.
