I was in the Redcoats in 77 - 79...you people who say it's boring...It's like this: you are in college, carrying a full academic schedule, and you still have to spend part of the summer, 12 hour rehearsals, to get ready for game one. You practice constantly during the week during football season, all while carrying a full academic load, studying for exams, and trying to survive. This is not drum and bugle corps. These are kids that do this in whatever time they have outside the classroom. You get out of classes around 4 or 5, eat, and go practice on the athletic fields until 11:00 pm. Trust me, it's a full schedule from sun up to sun down. You are juggling plates all day every day. So, if it falls short of drum and bugle corp - there is a reason.
The park and bark band. I swear we never move.
woof woof!
