Hey thank you for the comment. I am too shy to speak, also builds in this game is rather subjective too. I could probably do some text overlay to explain thoughts process during tough moments of gameplay, etc.
I think overall it's the weakest staff (which is to say all staves psyker have are so strong!). But against monsters, it's the most comfortable staff to be on by far. You can stagger ragers/maulers/shotgunners with left click. You used to be able to stagger crushers too with left click but they nerfed that.
I almost exclusively play purgatus cuz the stun and crowd control is almost invaluable as far as im concerned. People really dont understand how valuable constantly staggering ragers and maulers is and if they get too close I have a god roll dueling sword to stab them in the weakspot with.
@@infrared6973 yeah, dueling sword is a must with it, the Purg can really do work, I always top damage with it (last game was almost 700k damage). Also, it seems to proc BB on attacks really easily
@@IamHere027 i like that skill too but with my build i dont think i can take it and the skill that lets you block range with crits cuz i take all the toughness nodes I can. Me personally i dont like playing with 110 toughness and I use toughness curios as well but thats a recent change.
@@infrared6973 i have 1 toughness curio and 2 health ones, I feel like you can generate a lot as a Psyker. The the ranged immunity on crit is really nice on Purgatus with the crit chance blessing as, from my games, it seems to crit a lot and proc the skill. I have no problems with survivability as is, if you have toughness regen on peril generation, quell and the ranged immunity on crit.
I was testing unyield purga one day as a meme glad you took it one step further. Purgatus used to be my go to staff at launch, back when surge and trauma were so shite haha. Technically purgatus can still do everything you need with high dps + supression on demand and BB deals with big game. What do you think of gaze purgatus? I had a lot of fun with it personally. Also do you prefer new combat blade over the old one because of better wave clear? (I think I'm just an old head with mk3 knife)
My purgatus has unyielding locked but only 74 burn. I figure it doesnt matter and ive been using it forever. Its probably my main staff although I have been using surge as well.
@@infrared6973 Unyielding is a good perk imo. Since they take extra damage from dot (burn/bleed). Try to find one with 76% burn and high cloud radius though. Both of them are most important stats on purgatus. Damage and warp resist can be low.
I think gaze purga is inefficient. Sure you crit more but how much faster do you kill stuff? Since the burn stack is capped anyway. It's much suited for more finesse weapons like ds/guns/assail/voidstrike. Also I like creeping flames synnergy with purga too much. 20+ stacks on monster is very strong. I prefer the new one for psyker, since I only use push attack and it comes out faster. For zealot I prefer mk3. Of course for push attack spam it doesn't really matter but the push stab to the face is slightly easier to aim headshot for me.

Recently started running the knife with sg and dd. Having a blast causing bleed and perilous to combustion
Gun I assume? Knife with dd proc is max warp speed. :D

I use a lot of mods, all available on nexus. Most noticeable are UI mods.

It applies stacks at the same rate. so charging it just makes a longer stream

Look up ui and hud on nexus. I use all of them
My favorite build, except maybe for the melee weapon, for me it is the force weapon .
Is the infernus blessing for the heavy laspistol good?
Yes it's very against monsters. It also stacks dumdum blessing so that tends to be the combo.
where did you got this helmet with orange eyes? I have one same. But my helmet with blue eyes
It's a different set from the other one. This one has the demonic voice filter.
