- Tonight I'm reading your tarot but using Animal Crossing Amiibo cards instead of tarot cards! We're doing whispering, semi-inaudible whispering, and flipping through my crinkle notebook filled to the brim with zodiac information. Lucky for you I have a LOT of experience reading these cards 😘 I actually find tarot pretty helpful but it can be fun to just do a playful riff with different cards, takes the seriousness out of things which can be even more tingly.

I realize this is Animal crossing but it genuinely feels like a proper tarot reading. I love how relaxing it is and would be down for more videos like this too!
Because it is a reading. The medium may change but the messages still channel through to the receivers. The old school method were using the patterns of leaves in water and combining them with different metaphorical meanings, to interpret and analyze the algorithmic nature of our conscious relation to it. That's why there are so many different stylized tarot cards in first place. Lol

alb this video is just amazing - the work you’ve put into it (the notebook, the creativity behind the cards and their correlation to astrological charts, etc) and the details in filming and recording the audio is so noticeable and it’s combined here to make such a relaxing and tingly video that is now one of my faves!

It would be cool to see a "tarot" reading once every few months! It was very relaxing but also genuinely helpful bc it DID inspire an inner conversation. I did think of the questions you asked and thought of how your interpretation of these obviously funny cards might relate to what's actually bothering me. It's like low stakes introspection cause it's just animal crossing and it's just for fun but also felt good!

I love how you always incorporate tracing and tapping on the objects in the videos. Really reminds me of how it was at the start of the “whisper community”. I just came across a video that was like a modern version of old "audio only" videos, but apparently people actually complained about the dubbing. Imo you could hardly get better quality audio but there you go
This is ART, I feel guilty for my heavy eyelids. & I have to say, thank you so much for the black background, so many people are putting out perfectly lit, daylight bright videos & I can’t enjoy them before bed.
I keep wondering why I see so many ASMR videos with bright backgrounds. I also can’t watch those before bed.
Paper that has been written on is my favorite to be flipped.
Here me out, even tho it was all animal crossing related items, I still relate to the reading, like it was basically accurate for me
That's how all "readings" work. They're vague enough that almost anyone can relate.
@@AmberyTear thats how general readings work. Im a tarot reader and while there are readers who take advantage of the cold reading tactic, there are authentic readers who can get specific information from each card that not everyone can relate to except the client

Late to the party, but I really loved this one. The water-distressed paper was a great touch and so worth it. I think it's quite funny how the first and last readings resonated with me - I don't even believe in real life tarot, much less pretend amiibo card reading, and still I found myself nodding along! It's your camera presence, I think, and how serious you play it, that I found myself completely believing you. The little deadpan jokes you throw in somehow work to make it more real too, I guess because my friends talk like that too? Honestly, top tier video, this one.

Okay i have an idea for a video that I feel like would fit your style and prop skills SO well.
Channels like Mr. Tool, LABD Restoration, Rescue & Restore, etc make videos of restoring old rusted mechanical tools and contraptions. they sandblast away rust and dirt, machine new parts and screws, carve new wooden handles, etc.
Now imagine: ASMR restoring an old vintage appliance (or something) but nothing makes sense. the sandblaster is literally just like a spray bottle or something. a part is too damaged so you make a new one, only it's made of an entirely different material and comes out in a different shape. the end "restored" product is just a completely different item than the original damaged item.
I would watch the HECK out of that, i bet you'd make an amazing video with that concept
