So I run with the help of our club a PRS22lr match due to limited range it is the best fit for our club. Living in PA we still shoot through the winter, but I have 4 stages and run them twice to meet the typical 8 stage day. This has helped people learn and apply tips and tricks in real time. We are hard on the regular shooters, if you clean it first round you have to shoot it lefty second round. We are a smaller club that is all about learning the shooting sports, Indiana County Bow and Gun club, located in western PA
The second thing better than shooting is hearing you guys talking guns. Congratulations on such a nice podcast, continue your excellent work on the shooting world
Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life --> Nope, I do not believe that for one moment. Every single job I have ever had became a dirty word called work and sad to say I made some of the things I loved to do my job and that killed my love for what I loved. Now lets preface that with the fact that I have worked for myself for 30 years and it was completely my fault! I say find a job that pays you well enough to live well that is decent and honest and still enjoy your hobbies and passions separately!
Funny before you started talking about making Club matches a learning experience I was literally thinking how is anybody new gonna catch up to these guys if it keeps getting pushed forward and everyone keeps leveling up.
A hydraulic capto chuck is more precise than a shrink fit and you can change tools easier with less runout. Shrink fit tooling with reamers or drills can have micro chatter
Question for Francis: Another UA-camr mentioned that you recommended a binocular tripod mount that also holds a rangefinder. I think it’s called a SlideLok, but haven’t been able to find one. Here’s the link to the video: ua-cam.com/users/shortspmmmoxy1UmU?feature=share Where can I find one?
Just like a hex nut on a bolt, it doesn't matter which side you start first. Just a guess, but I suspect the barrels get marked based on the direction of the tool when they cut the rifling.
The 3 most influential people in helping others in our sport. Thank you all. 🙏🏼
Miles to Matches, I have listened to it over and over. Can't wait til Thursday.
I’ve watched every interview you have done and I have to say that there hasn’t been one that I haven’t learned something! Keep them coming.
