Peter and Andy....these two videos are the best I have ever seen about putting and putters. I've been playing for over 40 years and I just learnt more about putting & putters in 30 minutes than I have in 40 years.
    Thanks guys. Cheers.

After I saw the First Video I tried to grip it less Short nearly to the end of the grip. It's awsome to See an feel the difference! my putting is much better since then.

Very nice video. Learned a lot. at 6'4 I have a 35" putter and was "fit" but by a club fitter, not necessarily a putter fitter. Love how he includes the look part. Liking the look of your clubs is important.
I wonder what he thinks of the new counter balanced putters replacing the belly putters, available in 38" even.

Very informative as he touches on different aspects of a Putter fitting that most videos don't. I am shocked he did not talk more in depth about the face balancing and how that is gear towards different putting strokes (i.e. arc stroke vs. a straight back). From my understanding his approach is that face balance vs. swing arc is not a major concern which contradicts most putting guides out there.

I call the old classic blade putters a blade and the new variously shaped blades a "modified blade", that covers all the different variations now being made in the catagory that would be considered a blade, and then you have the mallets and even all the silly odd shapes they are making for the back end of the mallets, those can be called a modified mallet.

Great info on putters Pete. Andy's demo of the SeeMore putter certainly looked strong, albeit a little like an infomercial. I'm curious if you actually tried the SeeMore, and if so, did you find the tech offered any tangible benefit over other putters when actually rolling puts?

Got 2 center shafted putters , should they have a straight shaft, or would a bend be ok? Mine both have a bend to flatten the lie angle. I also feel it's person preference, if it goes in the hole, go with it.

Am I a "dinosaur"? I've used the same putter since I started playing the game (Ping Anser). I purchased this club only because I thought it was cool that I could pick the ball up easily. Since that time I've used a metal file to mark the sweet spot and then after about 35 years I had her re-gripped with a thicker, modern grip. She has nicks, wrinkles and some oxidization on the shaft (and a few bite marks). She has even suffered abuse from using her on tee shots. She has a moderate amount of air time - not quite enough to earn air-rewards. But I love her. How could I leave her because she wasn't toe-weighted, heel-wieghted, specifically balanced for my needs?
Loved your video but nothing will convince me to leave my sweetheart. Cheers.

Peter, I think that it is safe to say that none of us have looked at putters in such detail. Just as none of us spend enough time on the putting green practicing our stroke which accounts for about a third of the strokes we make on the course. So much sexier to bomb a drive that make a 3 footer. Length, Lie, Loft and Look. The 4L's. Not sexy but informative. Thanks.

I wonder if this is where LAB got their idea for their putters and their “Revealer” - it’s a shame that SeeMore isn’t marketing their stuff as effectively as LAB because they seemed to be the first putter company to adopt this concept at half the price!

Got a question for a Scotty Cameron aficionado...
About 12-15yrs ago while playing a round w/ my grandpa I tried 1 of his friends Scotty Cameron. From what I remember of the club it was a traditional blade style putter, it had a tan grip & a black club head (or putter head). The distinguishing feature that I remember is the weight of the club wasn’t balanced at all. The putter face or club head was much heavier, making the putter noticeably bottom heavy. I’ve used several Scotty Cameron’s & owned a couple since then, but never had one that felt like that.
My question is, is there a Scotty Cameron model that’s produced regularly that’s known for having a heavier putter head like that, or was it just that years club? I really loved the feel of that putter

It's a shame all this can't be backed up with statistics. Tour players aren't shooting any better putting numbers now than they were in say the 40s or 50s before all of this technology. It's simply down to putting skills. Bad putters will always be looking for a new putter to fix the problem.

You need to think about the anatomical differences between genders and not just height as a standard measurement for both. Women's wider hips effecting the legs below and back above hip height. Breasts effecting where arms can comfortably hang and swing clearly around the body.

I really appreciate this guy has his own theories and done very well for himself, but he just did a vid on putter fitting that told us all to buy what we like the look of, hence no need for a putter fitting ever! rofl. The sam lab was great, but all Andy seems concerned with is posture and standing upright and using long putters, Jack Nicklaus, Arny Palmer, Gary Player, Phil Mickleson, Jordan Spieth, Luck Donald etc etc come to mind here as massive examples of that being just a theory and not such a good one.
I have never looked at your swing Pete and thought you were crouching over, or even ever had bad posture, you look like you have great posture in all your golf swings so this seems bizarre to me.
