As a large family, we've tried several different methods of chores/allowance with our 5 kids through the years and have FINALLY found a kids chore system that works for our big family! We call it KINDNESS COINS because it both rewards our kids for chores, teaches money management, and...also rewards them for acts of kindness. This has led to a less chaotic, more organized + peaceful home and has really helped our large family management routine.
