I was fortunate to be a shop rat at a taxi cab company. The mechanic was trained by the military to fix anything that broke on an all burning engine.
All burning means every type of fuel from jet fuel, and AVgas to vegetable oil and methanol.
Back in 1986, we didn't have the internet. My brother taught me to use separate sandwich bags for parts.
Dan, the mechanic, taught me to lay everything out in order of removal and to clean everything before reassembling whatever we were repairing.
It helped that I had a sort of eidetic memory, and I could replay events in my mind. It is a gift and a curse because emotions are connected to memories, and some memories can cause ptsd. ❤

I have found that if you don't unplug the hoses they are usually pretty easy to put back together
Tape and a marker or small color matching zip ties. And ziplocks how I keep track of everything. Whole shop. Dude working on a trailer tool box😂😂😂

On my phone your video title was " testing temu supercharger and meth" and I was like now that sounds like a video for me lol
All you need to do is get a fuel pressure regulator that has a boost reference on it and that way it will increase your fuel pressure as boost goes up stopping it from blowing the fuel out of the carburetor because once the boost overcomes the fuel pressure it just starts blowing the fuel either back the line which it really can't because of the needle and seat so it ends up blowing it out the vents and down into the motor causing it to run extremely rich until fuel runs out so the simplest way because it doesn't seem like you're 100% competent of doing that system where you put the carburetor on top of the blower it's so much easier to just put a fuel pressure regulator inline that has a boost reference input on it literally you put the regulator inline you run the line to a boost reference and you're done well adjust it then you're done

8:40 get those fancy packs of different colored zipties and you put the same colored ziptie on the hose or wire and socket/connector. and then other color for the next set. works pretty well. or just use tape i guess, point is, label both ends.

Nowdays I take photos, used to put numbers on both hose and nipple as well as connectors and cables. Such as 1 1, 2 2 etc

Y'know? You dont drill carb jets out, you can buy kits that have a selection of different sized replacement sets, and they unscrew so you can experiment with no permanent fuck-ups.

I agree, however it’s good to have the best of both worlds. My favourite thing to do with hilux is doing things it has no business doing. I guess, I love building stuff that shouldn’t be built and doing things that shouldn’t be done. Makes it fun!

Ive actually been playing burnout masters for like a month now. Its definitely a cool little game i just wish all of the tracks and cars were unlockable with in game money and not have to pay 3 or 5 bucks for them

Well it’s always work for me when I had no idea what I was working on is Get Color zip ties blue goes to blue red goes to red and when you run out of the colour code then you match them

I am of the opinion when you're doing a draw through set up like that you almost never need to increase jet size because the increased drawer pulls more fuel automatically through the same size jet but when switching fuel to methanol you obviously have to do something for extra fuel

I put colored zip ties on lines so I know what went where. Just match the colors up on re assembly.
Different color zip ties. Blue goes to blue, ect... and labeled zip lock bags for bolts

to mark lines and such with tape the best way is to do a numbering system line 1 has tape at both pieces marked as 1 then another line seperated would be marked 2 both ends by doing it this way when you get to the point of putting everything back together you staret with the last number lets say i disconnected 23 things i would start putting it back together as #23 then number 22 and so on
You need Marty and Moog there helping you with these small trucks.
