- Today on JD Cars we’re taking a look at the stock BMW F30 adaptive M suspension in comparison to ISC N1 coilovers. The difference in travel, stiffness, and body roll is night and day. Stock suspension does a good job of catering to all situations, but for maximum handling performance a set of coilovers is the way to go. I have thoroughly enjoyed driving on my ISC N1 Coilovers thus far and would highly recommend them. All ISC coilovers come with a Lifetime Warranty.

Do the isc have dampening?
@@AdnanSkillz1234 to my understanding the N1 track version has 32 way dampening adjustment but the street version does not. I could be mistaking on the street version.
I believe all N1 coilovers are 32 way adjustable! 🤙🏼

What damping settings did you use on the ISC’s at the cemetery? Really well thought out demonstration, haven’t seen as comprehensive suspension videos as yours!
Good review for the isc. I am looking to change shocks but unsure if the car would throw any errors or warning. How did u manage that?

Looking at ISC N1 V2's for my F30, I'm not into slamming my car. What is the highest ride height setting? What spring rate did you go with street/comfort or track/race?
I see on the ISC site it’s only up to 335’s anything for 340’s or are they set up the same ?
Is it worth getting adaptive suspension .???
It really isn't. It just adds another option for an auto suspension that adapts to your driving conditions.

I bought 230i 2022 and couple days ago it get crazy body roll almost lost the control. i was have accord and it didint happen. do u know guys bmw stock is really soft suspension ? i was upset.
Some models do have pretty soft suspension. Some lowering springs or coilovers may help you
I live in LA where there is a lot of potholes, like a lot of them. I'm a new driver and I can see my self knowing where all of them are, but do you think it would not be smart to get coil overs? Would it damage the car or suspension if I go over a pothole, or would it just be uncomfortable? cause I'm fine with it being uncomfortable but if it damages my car I don't want to do that?
Coilovers and potholes are not a good combo. The coilovers can be damaged more easily, along with your car (because of the more rigid, less-forgiving suspension). If you install coilovers, be ready to dodge potholes 😂
did u get edc coilovers or non edc my 440 had m adaptive but i just went on STs without edc and im locked out of sport modes
Hi, when you say locked out do mean only for the chassis or drivetrain also? Is the car throwing an faults or errors? I'm very interested in this as I also have m adaptive suspension on my 328i & looking at the different options available

Thanks! Yes, I believe you can reach stock ride height-- if not, very close to it.
Great review. So I have adaptive m suspension, Does that mean the change between comfort modes is less noticeable, or gone entirely?
Thanks! If you install the coilovers, you'll no longer have any suspension difference between driving modes. Worth it in my opinion though :)

What year 340i? ISC says this kit will fit all BMW F30 (3 Series) from 2012-2017.
