I know Annette!! Years ago she took me, my sister, and my Mom into her home. She gave us a place to live when I was 10. If she had a place to live, then we had a place to lay our heads. She has a huge heart, a motherly type. I often think of her! She is an amazing woman!!! ILOVE YOU ANNETTE!! My maiden name is Laura Stanhope.
This must be so hard for you to listen to. She seems like such a lovely lady, your story definitely adds to that. I have a sister on the streets who is an addict with a myriad of mental health problems. It feels like I'm carrying a boulder on my back, every single day that i cannot help her. It kills my very soul. I'm so sorry that your dear friend has been in this situation for 30ish years, I believe she said. It's just awful 😢
It's bittersweet that a woman, who failed to to care for herself, somehow managed to make the lives of other women, just a little bit softer. That's the resilience of a spirit May God bless and keep her 🙏
In reality majority of the elderly have been abused and misused, I work in an assisted living facility and if you listen they’ll tell you some things. Also happens a lot to mentally impaired individuals, it’s really sad actually
Such a strong soul.... Over 70 years of pain on her shoulders and she still tries to help the girls that she meets. She shouldn't worry about God. God has no beef with her. Poor lady... I hope she stays in her home for the sake of her dogs.
She could be anyone's grandma. My grandmother lived a hard life of being abused and she had that far away look in her eyes like this lady has. My heart is breaking, God bless her.
I'm glad that Annetta has found someone she can love and trust and can now count herself among the housed . A lot of women who come on this channel say that they don't get along with other women so it's refreshing to come across one such as herself who will go out of her way to take young women as she once was , under her wings with her own limited resources and give them a leg up ! .I think that's very special!
She's affiliated with all the gangs....no wonder she has that "mama persona" in order to live with what she allows in her life. My perspective comes from being a street addict.
A lot of these women run away from good homes and and good situations. Not that this is the case here but nobody ever takes accountability for their actions until it’s too late.
Dear Annette, your story touched me so much. I'm so sorry for all that you've gone through, and the irony of you wanting to help and care for people in a way that you were not. Amazing story and so glad that you are still here. With all the trauma that you've endured, I wish you a happy life. You deserve it.
I got fired from my dead end job today. My misery isn't even a 2 on the richter scale by comparison. My god, that woman has had an uninterrupted nightmare of an existence. I hope she finds help...
I did 3-4 years on the streets suffering at my own hand through a crippling heroin addiction. That said I don’t have HALF the mental fortitude of this poor lady. I was emaciated, half dead, 5’9 115 pounds soaking wet. I wouldn’t have made it 10 years let alone 40. I hope this lady finds peace, some sobriety, and a modicum of inner happiness before her mortal coil burns out. I was given 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th chances to figure it out. Not everyone is so lucky. Remember where you came from so you can understand where you’re going. Remember where you came from so you never make the mistake twice. Remember where you came from so you can stay grounded in humility. Remember where you came from because there’s ALWAYS work to be done.
I’m happy you’re in the here and now. You made it! ♥️ My brother didn’t. 😔 Alcohol was his downfall as well as my parents. My childhood was centered around the sounds of beer cans opening and parents drunk by 5pm every day. I have hard time listening to a can opening sometimes. Traumatized I guessed. Good luck and stay positive and safe. 🕊
Bless her heart. This poor woman is at the point in her life where she should be relaxing, gardening, going in cruises yet her life has led her to this harsh reality. Child abuse needs to stop. She could be anyone's grandma.
I wouldn't have too much sympathy for a women that chose drugs and homelessness as a lifestyle. She would sell her kids or kill you for the next hit, trust me!
I know😢 poor annette. And ,Yes! Childhood is everything! Upbringing is everything! Majority of addicts and homeless people are the way they are because of childhood trauma.
💯. Annette, no one was 'allowed' to say the word "incest" in the 1970s. Back then the theory was it was one in a million. You say you wished you could have got help for yourself. The chances, had you told, would be nil anyone would have believed you. I told (I'm just 10 years younger than her), & I got punished instead of helped. And it continued. Even now, kids are told they're making it up. Their own mothers often chose men over their own flesh & blood. You are a lovely woman who deserves the best in the time you have left, which is a long time because you have a genuine 💓. 🌹
My grandmother was raped twice, suffered 4 miscarriages, lost a son to drowning, had a stillborn, and so much more.. my dad said she would be rocking herself in a corner, pulling all of her hair out and screaming at the top of her lungs. My grandpa would take her multiple times to asylums because he had no idea how to handle it. Now, she is 82- she founded a w baptist church that now has 1,000 members and is as mentally and spiritually healthy as can be. I thought she was a normal ol grandma until my dad told me her past when I was a teenager. Theirs hope out there, I feel for this woman, all she has experienced is pain. I pray for some kind of relief..
Hearing stories like, Annette’s, makes you think maybe my life isn’t so bad. I have a roof over my head, a great job, food on the table and a warm bed at night. Cheers, from Country Victoria. Australia 🇦🇺 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Such a kind, sweet soul. I’m so sorry for the years of abuse she had… I pray her later days will be in peace 🥰 Take care Annette- people care about you!!!!! ❤
Almost every time I watch a video on this channel, I'm compelled to continue staying sober; what scares me the most is how these people have so often lived lives going to waste for years on drugs, years, the time flies when you're narcotised and you look back on all that got wasted in that manner and just think Woah.
She is the kindest soul, even though she was abused and treated horribly by her own blood. Annette, you have a purpose and I am sure have made a difference in so many lives in your lifetime; just by listening and caring for others in need. I am glad you have your apt and your sweet dogs in your life. I hope your friend takes good care of you. Your past does not define you. You are a blessing because you are loving and kind. That is worth more than gold in this world. You are in my prayers, Annette.
Annette, this is Anthony, Norma and Rick's son, some of my earliest memories are of you, you were the best, always making us kids laugh.. I saved your Sister, in Arkansas, a few years back, she passed out in her apartment and I went to visit her and she left her heat on and it was like 110 degrees in there, luckily I came and called the ambulance and she was okay, I love you and Wenchy, very very much.. This woman has ridden the hard road. I hope she finds some peace. Everyone deserves to know happiness. I reckon this lady would love a makeover. Hairs, nails, facial, the full works and some nice comfortable clothes to boot. Maybe some help to get a modest residence in an area with less temptation, more positive activity and community. Hope she chooses happiness for herself.
I agree with a makeover. In my 45 year's of doing hair, It is amazing how a makeover can make you feel so wonderful. She has a place to live with her boyfriend & 3 little dogs.✨️💇♀️💖✨️ Blessed Be ✨️ 💜 ✨️
This poor sweet woman has suffered more than anyone should have to !!! I pray that she finds some peace and joy to enjoy the rest of her life since she definitely deserves it !!! ❤️😞🙏
how is it possible for the human body to survive that much drug abuse for that many years , of course I can only guess but I guessing her father was an alcoholic , her life story really is extraordinary in a very bad way , she sounds sane and that's amazing considering her journey
Please, you can't assume that is true for everybody. We cannot control what other people do or don't do, but we can make sure we are the change we want to see. If everyone would do this, life would be better for those who need help and those who give it. Cheers!
Did you hear what she said about having housing? She sees herself back on the streets. That's her element. That's how she grew up, and that's the lifestyle she's accustomed to. And like the others have said, we can't help someone who isn't asking for it, or hasn't expressed the willingness to make changes and accept help. Most folks will go on to the bitter end in this lifestyle. That's the reality. What's normal to you is not necessarily normal to the next guy or gal.

Abuse from any family members should not be tolerated at all, normal folk do not understand it could ruin a person. Praying for this lady for closure, and God's Guardian Angles to keep her strong. Family abuse,Family abandonment is not good for any human being & to be kicked to the curb cause we're the black sheep in the family, should never be accepted in life, it exists and Im one of those people, and many more exist to this day, we're the silent majority cause no one wants to hear about it, and when we tell someone, all professionals say move forward, as they do not know what its like, to never have Holiday Celebrations with family, or no one to call. People like us have lost most of our friends, and dealing with family abuse/abandonment it's hard to even trust most people. I feel for this woman, my God keep her strong, most people would have checked themselves out, or turned to hard deugs to cope, not all of have went down that dark turn.
Annette has learned everything she knows, the hard way. Surviving life out there like that, and still decent person with good heart. So much loss she’s endured. So much loss. Prayers to you momma
God knows the heart of us all. Annette is still here for a reason. Her work isn't done yet. God will call her home when her work is done. Blessings to you dear Annette ❤️ 🙏 💕 Enjoy your new home. 🐕 🐶
I just want to reach through the screen, hug Annette pull her thought the screen and make the rest of her life magival and joyful. She should be sitting on the porch of her little home with her veggie garden in the back yard and her flowers and bushes of all colors surrounding her home, nice size stream for grandchildren and greatgrandchildren running to playing. Riding their bikes, swinging from the tire swing in the big Oak tree. Her kids and spouse making hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, streaks on a nice propane grill. The older grandkids would be making the salads and cutting up fruit. Teen grandkids helping the little ones make cupcakes. All for the sweet Annette they all know as grandma

Who did she say look out for her on the street? Did anybody catch that? Mark mentioned that he was his "left hand out there." After Annette mentioned him.
Do you know why they go back out on the streets once they have a place?? Its lonely for them. They go back to where they feel a sense of belonging. It's too painful to be alone. There is a God who loves us. Write your story on his heart. He knows it already. Find Him now. God bless

My ❤goes out to you Annette. I am sad that the adults in your life didn’t protect you as a child. Shame on your father and brothers. I hope you will find peace. You deserve it.
If I was rich - I would change this ladies life - if anyone reading this is rich, please buy her somewhere safe and comfortable to stay - let her live the next stage of her life in peace and comfort - Someone out there has the means to make it happen. Please do it.
Annette has been through too much in this life 😢and needs the drugs she on to cope with the pain trauma shame of the pedophile rape incest and all the adult and childhood abuses she has endured☮️.
Is take her as a friend first before a lot of other people around me. She has a good heart still after all she has been thru. I would have liked to hear more about her children. It seemed like Mark had to rush her interview. Maybe she can come back.
I don't know about going to school for a degree but I think she could help young kids that are selling their souls& bodies for money & drugs. Blessed Be ✨️ 💜 ✨️
Well, why not? She could have 2 decades or more ahead of her. I'm 72 and continue learning more everyday. I' vs thought about going back to school myself. Right now, though, I wish I was out there in California, near Skid Row - I'd really like to work with Anette, helping her with her reading and writing.I think it would boost her self confidence and help her realize how smart she really is .I was a Reading Teacher, but also had my own struggles with opiates, benzos and cocaine(crack). Before my time' s up, I'd like to help someone else.
I am crying. It's very hard to cope with the idea of a human being living in the street for 40 years. What kind of society can allow something like that? The part of the so-called civilised word is not so civilised after all. Heartbreaking.
Perhaps one of the reasons people return to the street is because out there, they are "somebody." People know who they are as Annette mentioned, they know how to get things done, where to find things, they can help someone, etc. They feel important and needed. We need to find a way for everyone to feel needed and wanted.
I am so very sorry for your snuse and suffering dear child of God….(Hug) You are a survivor….my heart goes out to you. May the rest of your life be peaceful. You have done some kind things for those women you have helloed. Bless you and keep you safe🙏❤️🌹

Its the friends n family we must waych. Its not a creep at the park, or in a white van. Thats a stereotype. 9/10 its a creepy uncle 🔫🙈🙉🙊
Who did she say look out for her on the street? Did anybody catch that? Mark mentioned that he was his "left hand out there." After Annette mentioned him.
Interesting what time mark
What a wonderful person!
Love you, keep hanging in there ❤ much love from Michigan
Do you know why they go back out on the streets once they have a place?? Its lonely for them. They go back to where they feel a sense of belonging. It's too painful to be alone. There is a God who loves us. Write your story on his heart. He knows it already. Find Him now. God bless
My heart hurts 4 wot u hav been through babe. U r a true survivor!!! U didnt not deserve any of it!!! Only 💜 n 🙏 sent out 2 u babe. May Godbless u n rest of u Lufe. U deserve it.😇
Another great example of "family values" - It's all good, everything happens for a reason, when life gives you lemons .......
I have heard this story before a person born into a family of animals this is beyond sad
praying god gives her peace in her heart to sit still, and not urge street life..live rest of her days safe.and find real happiness ❤
What a beautiful soul…. God bless her!
What a precious soul. God Bless this woman.

May God bless her. She is one of the lucky ones. I'm glad she has a place to live a decent life. I hope she continues helping others. 🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽
This just breaks my heart 💔😢
My ❤goes out to you Annette. I am sad that the adults in your life didn’t protect you as a child. Shame on your father and brothers. I hope you will find peace. You deserve it.
I usually do not get emotional very easily. But this put tears in my eyes😔
Highly intelligent woman. Love you Annette ❤
She looks pretty good actually considering her life a sweetheart ❤
If I was rich - I would change this ladies life - if anyone reading this is rich, please buy her somewhere safe and comfortable to stay - let her live the next stage of her life in peace and comfort - Someone out there has the means to make it happen. Please do it.
Ur peace will not be here on earth but surely in heaven! God bless you!
I have two older brothers who always protected me and a younger brother whom I protected. I feel very lucky.
She said she has no biological children but....she has mother education many many girls off the streets.
@@Saer-s9u thank you. I went back later and listened to the interview again. That’s what happens when you listen at 6am without coffee! Ha-ha!
❤she has her whole life to look forward too. Go to school, get a degree and help others! You can be useful, don’t give up Mama Seeta❤
Right, she's only 71
What a strange comment…her whole life to look forward to? At 71?
I don't know about going to school for a degree but I think she could help young kids that are selling their souls& bodies for money & drugs. Blessed Be ✨️ 💜 ✨️
she has a chance at peace of a kind atm and i really want her to have it!.
What a sweet soul!!!
Same age as me! Hope all is good for her! 🌻😌
Sending lots of prayers, love and hope to Annette🙏💗🌈
21 children, the mother should had been fixed.
How about fixing the father?
@@loiscassels8966 heck yeah
Goes to show you that drugs have no age. This is truly so sad😞 poor lady 😩
Wow, she's been on the streets my whole life, crazy😢
Is this about you?
@@bloomerdavid way to be an absolute idiot. Get off of UA-cam. Stop commenting.
Useless comment
I am crying. It's very hard to cope with the idea of a human being living in the street for 40 years. What kind of society can allow something like that? The part of the so-called civilised word is not so civilised after all. Heartbreaking.
Annette belive me but there are people who feel for you and love you, I am first and i know there are many more like me ❤ God bless you and take care
Perhaps one of the reasons people return to the street is because out there, they are "somebody." People know who they are as Annette mentioned, they know how to get things done, where to find things, they can help someone, etc. They feel important and needed. We need to find a way for everyone to feel needed and wanted.
If it wasn’t for my father, I’d be dead.
I am so very sorry for your snuse and suffering dear child of God….(Hug)
You are a survivor….my heart goes out to you. May the rest of your life be peaceful. You have done some kind things for those women you have helloed. Bless you and keep you safe🙏❤️🌹
Annette just might be an Angel ❤
Reminds me of a beautiful song we could all take a lesson from....entertaining angels unaware. Glad you can see with your inner eyes 😊ua-cam.com/video/H-rtxWexYN0/v-deo.html
All Blessings to You Annette 🙏💗✌️💗♾️🤗 Thank You for sharing Your story with Mark 🙏💝

Earlier years it’s scary how women’s abuse was tolerated…so sad.
