Very informative video, went to Lay this May-June 2022 and have observed below issues due to high altitude on my Jeep compas 4x4. 1 Low tyre pressure on high passes 2 Pickup low due to low oxygen observed only once at Gatta loops. oil temperature alert once. 3. I observed my coolant temperature rising when I was in high altitude, as per Jeep customer care this was due to high pressure and low oxygen. Jeep compas was rugged and I loved every bit of the time I spent on Leh
By the way i forgot to mention that I sold my Land Rover Discovery Sports ( 2019 model ) and bought a Jeep Compass model S after watching your vlog and super happy . I had a Ford Endeavour and Toyota fortuner before that ( I sold both as I live in Darjeeling hills and way too big for our roads ) . Land Rover I sold it as I regretted buying as the after sales services was bad and the nearest workshop is 700 kms away . The only good compact SUV a with real 4x4 capability with Low Range was a jeep Compass. Went through you vlogs and was convinced. I am really happy. Thanks a ton bro . ❤
I always follow your videos, very informative. I was inspired by your solo trip Bangalore to Delhi last year spiti trip. I did this year on 20 September Bangalore to leh Ladakh. Solo from Bangalore to Delh on my Harrier BS6 manual. My family joined me from Delhi. Delhi to Jammu, Srinagar, kargil, leh Ladakh, then Manali , delhi back to Bangalore. Tyres pressure showing low in khardungla pass for me too in harrier. From 33 all four showing 28. When I came down it was noramal. Harrier did performed excellent. Thank you keep inspiring for road trip 👍
Two things here . We don’t have sports mode , so solution is just press acceleration and release again do the same , it will act as sports mode or high power mode. Second , above 5k feet altitude every vehicle getting less oxygen . Even endiover and fortunes also showing same issue in that place
@@tourismotto yes because Jeep Dosent know 1st gear in Manual . That’s the reason I lost my first compass . After two year I sold that and brought Trailhalk
I went to Ladakh last year, Had only DEF error, luckily in Srinagar, so we went to the service center and got it fixed. I've realized that BS6 engines need good quality fuel. The error came immediately after filling from Indian oil pump. I use only BP, but this was closer. :( Once you get a DEF error you HAVE to connect a computer to the car otherwise it will stall after 150 km. Other than that the jeep compass performed really well. All passes and offroad no problem. I have the old Trailhawk which doesn't have tyre pressure feature.
Good video but there is no lag in compass may be it’s with ur driving style. Also compass ground clearance is good enough for off-road only caveat you cannot except it cross terrains not meant for that car. I have done rock climbs with compass with elan.

Saif bhai , Please create videos on Jeep Compass - Hill start assist & Hill Decent controls
I have made a video on jeep compass off-road. I have showed the detail there
No car is perfect but if the person owning it feels good then it is a good car !
Nice line
What was the fuel efficiency in leh?

Are you having 2021 facelift automatic one . In manual we were not facing any issue.
Frankly speaking, Front bumper touches frequently. Which didn't happen in my 2016 creta which i used for 5years.
Great videos bhai mazedaar
