Hi Bob , yet another helpful video. Thank you so much. I received the following in an email following a recent Solbio purchase using you voucher code. 'You may be a regular Solbio user, but if this is your first time then there are a few steps you need to take to ensure Solbio is effective.
Fully rinse out your toilet cassetteAllow to dry for at least 24 hoursRinse out once more with water and 50ml of SolbioAllow to dry once more for 24 hours
This process is important to remove all the harmful chemicals that have previously been used in your toilet cassette.
Remember that you do not need to use any chemical products with your toilet. Solbio can be used to clean the toilet bowl so you only need to take one cleaning product on your next trip.'

Great video,thank you, do you still use the Thetford chemical in the flush part of the thetford toilets , this I’m guessing is just for the waste
Our motorhome doesn't have a flush tank, but you could use a dilution of Solbio in a flush tank. You mustn't mix Solbio with chemical solutions from Thetford.
Hi bob and Jenny just watched you video on this item 20/3/22 Good review of this subject . How did you get on with this product.? I purchased some from the last caravan and motorhome show NEC in February and have not tried it out yet.
I've been using it for nearly a year, quite happy with it, doesn't stain your hands and doesn't have that chemical smell. It does need to be refreshed every couple of days though. You do need to follow the instructions when using it the first time.

Hi Bob can you tell me what security you use for your motorhome we have just bought our first motorhome thank you
It comes with VIN Chip, and tracker as standard. I've added a Clutch Claw, locking wheel nuts, a lock on the spare wheel and I'm a member of Caravan ID. It's probably stronger for marine use, because if one is a full time liveaboard boater, as i am, elsan points are usually at least a days cruise away. Liveaboards don't move their boat every day. Personally i move my boat about once a week, occasionally every 2 weeks. I might give this product a go though but i haven't read of any boaters using it tbf.
i'm one of those who uses bio laundry liquid, it breaks the solids down, and doesn't smell as bad as the chem stuff. I have seen a negative review of Solbio, and was searching for any other negative reviews when i came across your review. I'll grab some, and give it a go.
There is a stronger version especially for marine use. I haven't tried it, obviously.

Sounds like a cracking one this folks! I imagine the smells' nice too, minty eucalyptus. Rather than the chemically pine smell. Certainly one to keep in mind when the lot we've got here runs out. Cheers for sharing 😀 Martin & Jo.
We were prompted to buy this fluid after the bit in your recent NEC video. We didn't see your affiliate link or discount code but did get 10% off for being a new user. After using it for the fist time this week I have to echo all your comments. Its excellent. I can't describe the smell, perhaps a cross between a Victory V lozange and mint sauce but its very pleasant and far longer lasting, smell wise, than the other brands we have used. We also used it for cleaning the loo and it worked perfectly. I was a bit suspect of the button causing a leak so I made a protective cover with my 3d printer which by chance is exactly the same size as the amount of fluid we need for our cassette. We will certainly be buying more and will use your link in future.

I always put about a litre of water in the tank, then add the Solbio.

I looked it up after you showed it on your cassette cleaning video and will be getting some as we currently used dometic tablets but wanted to go to a liquid. We have the same cassette as you and I have a few 30ml scoops I used for dog food so if we bump into you sometime I’ll let you have a couple to save you guessing 🤔🤔.
Great Video as always! 😀. Never understood why people using laundry detergent in there toilet tanks as the whole point of the chemicals is to break down waste and stop gas. 🙈
@@dannys971 I’ve tried dishwasher tablets in ours to give it a good refresh now and again. Seems to work ok. Never tried the proper thetford cleaner yet as we’ve not had the van long.

Bob Jenny how easy is it to recycle the bag and dispenser?
The pouch itself is classified as 7 non-recycle but the amount of plastic used is a lot less than the typical hard plastic bottles, so I guess that's the benefit if the container.
