Kristen discusses value pricing and incorporating a subscription-based pricing versus the traditional way of hourly billing as a way to update your firm.
Randy and Kristen agree that community is a core value and is necessary for modern accounting firms. She and Randy discuss the value of community, self-care, transparency, and vulnerability when it comes to running a firm and creating a healthy workplace culture. “Work for yourself, not by yourself” is Kristen’s motto when it comes to having a community around you to plug into and lean on. She emphasizes the importance of connecting with other professionals to learn best practices on running your firm.
