God I hope Aoki isn't the sole super animator working on the show. Season 2 had some really great animators, like Chris Julian bently, and even Kameda. Hope they show up again.

Nah fr Heavenly Delusion was the best anime of 2023 for me (and yes that's including jjk season 2, oshi no ko, hell's paradise and frieren)

I still can't stomach the fact that neither Heavenly Delusion nor Vinland Saga S2 won any awards.
It hurts me too. And to add salt to the wound, JJK will probably be snubbing a shit ton of awards next year too, because the Shibuya arc wasn't even nominated this year but people didn't seem to notice while voting, which led to FIVE EPISODES BEING AOTY. FIVE EPISODES WON ANIME OF THE YEAR. Like... what? So next year we get to look forward to JJK winning, AGIAN. (Don't get me wrong, I do love JJK but damn it's such a shame to see all these other fantastic nominees get butchered like this.)

I really hope that was the case. His left out cuts were too good to be just thrown out like that. It'll also make it clear why there was falling plane in the middle of the fight
its possible they could add more stuff, but given the release time of the blu-rays its probably not much.

Any studio could have done it better, JC Staff has done very mid to low end stuff over the years.

If we don’t get to see that first person sequence of Mahoraga getting pieced up by Sukuna before promptly getting drop kicked into the twilight zone in the revised version of JJK season 2 episode 17, I will be upset.
If whoever’s reading this doesn’t know, there was an incomplete Vincent Chansard cut that was scrapped from the episode that takes place just before that cut where Mahoraga goes flying back from a first person pov. It shows how he actually got knocked back. I’ve seen it. It’s sick as hell.
That cut sick as hell. Probably the sickest pov styled cuts i've seen from JJK so far. The addition of that cut will explain why in the world there's a fallen plane in the middle of their fight
@@ajinurfajri1952 Since it was specified that we’ll be getting additional cuts, and since they can’t extend the episode beyond its original runtime, they’ll have to actually restructure the fight and cut out a lot of the stills near the end, or maybe even shorten the specialz scene at the end to make room for the additional cuts. The only reason Chansard first person cut didn’t make it in is because they couldn’t figure out where to add it I imagine, so the changes could potentially recontextualize the entire fight and the order of events that take place.
I would want to see a video about the animation of Shangri- La frontier.
I had never seen any anime from the studio that animates it and they don't have a lot of works.

Does anyone know if there is anime awards in Japanese? I hear about certain anime winning Japanese awards, but I don’t know what those awards are. They would probably have a better understanding of what should and shouldn’t win as opposed to western anime fans.
I agree with the poster.... most of the time marketing team just slap all the major characters from the anime and that's it so it's cool to see some artistic posters like this once in a while

I don’t think that Vinland Saga has won any anime of the year besides the community vote of r/anime. It didn’t even win the jury vote for r/anime, because the jury voters actually had to watch all of the shows nominated.

Oh ny God, I can't believe that there's another human being that watched Summet Ghost! I watched it after finishing Vivt: Fluorite Eye's Song and was going through Loundar withdrawal (He was the Character Designer) and I wasn't disappointed at all. Really good short movie, I would give it 8.5/10

Studio bones is a better studio for something like opm, their work on MB 100 was insane 🔥. Sadly opm anime will suffer again. The trailer also didn't look anything spectacular either.

OPM season 1 we’re animated by THREE MAJOR STUDIO Madhouse, Bones and Wit with a clean schedule while JC Staff on their own and had a awful schedule yet they gave us some good moments such as Garou fights? They had to sacrifice Metal Bat vs Garou and Tournament arc animations for Garou fights unfortunately!

no, it was produced by Madhouse only. Just looking at JC staff recent stuff its very mid, they would need to hire a lot of good freelancers in order for it to pull through but doubt they have the fundings or the scouting talent in place for that. Even then OPM has only animation going for it since the story is very meh in both s1 and s2, so S3 might end up in a season 2 situation again.
@@WieldMyWordtry to do more research bruh, Director of Season 1 Shingo Natsume have worked with bones before, when madhouse hired him, he brought a lot of his animator friends and staff from Bones such as Yutaka Nakumura, Kameda, Chiksai Kobota to all worked with OPM
Arafumi Imai from Wit Studio also helped too

Kind of a shame that it's a norm that people will base the animation quality of the anime to the studio instead of the staff and their credibility, i mean look at how OP fans are hyping up the remake of their fave because it'll be produced by Wit Studio when in reality they should've be concerned because this studio have around 9 other animes to produce and it's not the same studio we knew before.
Bro do this weekly news with animation break down of other famous anime( Like tokyo ghoul mob FMAB etc) u will gain more followers. At this time u only have jjk and CSM fans. Attract more anime fans.

The Crunchyroll game award was very deceptive, it used the wrong cover art for JJK s2 since it was supposed to be only the first 5 episode (Hidden Inventory / Premature Death Arc) that entered this award. No hell 5 episode of JJK s2 should win the anime of the year over full seasons that are well animated with good/great story. This means JJK s2 will be featured next year with the rest of the episodes which is very messed up.

@@raddy6955 I’m actually talking the music itself, not how it compares to others in the same genre. Like I get you are sick of the same formula, but that doesn’t have any impact on quality of a song.
It's surprising that as underwhelming OPM as it was, they made CGI look good.
I hate CGI in every anime, but even i need to say that all the cantipedes in OPM s2 were actually pretty amazing, movement wasn't jarring, and they fit with the anime artstyle unlike Komamura's Dangai Joue in Bleach for example.
Aoki will probably carry this season too, he posts about OPM very often on X, he put his heart into it and you can see it.
Every time i read that the specific Naruto vs Pain was badly animated i already know the people don't know what they are talking about and they can't tell the difference between art and animation.
They stretched out like gummy bears which made the art looking hilarious, but the movement itself was hella smooth.
Honestly dangai joe wasn't bad but can't say it was the most fitting cgi but we are getting a news or either info on bleach on march 18 on shonen jump. Well it seems more like a normal Merch news but hope that they release a release date of trailer or either something abt hell arc manga.

Wouldn't count on anything big, new arc probably will happen after they end up with the anime since Kubo is taking busy doing work for the studio.
At first i thought they overexeggarate his working conditions but it seems to be true, the staff management is so poor they need to engage author to do some storyboards for the episodes.
