    I found this practice session very satisfying to watch because of the simplicity of both while hitting. Just gorgeous. Thanks for upload!

      Roger Federer they're both talented. the only difference between them is their mental strength on matches.

    The coach hits a nice ball. I like the abbreviated follow through, especially on the backhand ... very neat and effective.

      That's Franco Davin. He's a great coach too.

      Franco Davin was a great ATP player himself with some titles, the record of the youngest player winning a main draw ATP Tournament match (vs. Gildemeister at the age of 15) and victories against Agassi, Becker and Bruguera, for example. There's a couple of videos on UA-cam that show him in his youth times playing great tennis. Sadly, he retired very young (27 years), presumably trying to protect his mind from the savage stress that he experienced touring.
      As coach, he has a rare achievement: 2 Grand Slam titles with 2 different players (Gaudio RG 2004; Delpo US Open 2009).

    Best Forehand / 2 handed Backhand combo in the business.

      not fully convinced on the forehand, Carreño Busta would be my pick

    • @davidag90
      @davidag90 6 років тому +4

      What? Forehand is good, I can conceed you that, but Fognini's backhand is no way best two-handed in the tour. Almost none impulse from the legs, arms fully extended ALL THE SWING AND FOLLOW THROUGH, too short in terms of ball depth and height.
      Take some minutes to analyze Djokovic's forehand and two-handed backhand. THAT'S A GREAT COMBO!

      David Alejandro Gómez you’ve obviously never seen Fogninis backhand in play he has a unorthodox hitting style that works for him it doesn’t need to be the same cookie cutter shit that everyone else uses to be good he gets insane speed and depth with just rotation he’s one of the strongest players on tour

      Yooo! I actually agree. Mental game aside, i think Fognini is one of the best pure ball strikers of all time. It’s a shame he’s so hot-headed
