WAY better! I have headphones on and it was clipping a lot and early on when received with the caps drifted and choke doing nothing and no screen resistors!!
    It's Healthy again!!

Sounds killer! What's your recording setup/signal chain for these videos, Jason? I did a quick search through your videos and couldn't find any that described your setup, so I figured I'd ask.

nice work man...i love it... i want to ask you about the 50uf +50uf 500v, if i change with two piece 47uf 450v is it work? because very hard to find 50uf + 50uf 500v in my country...or do you have any suggestion?

That would be ok if you have them in series so that each cap only sees 1/2 of the total B+ voltage.

What caps do you use/suggest when recapping Marshall’s? Thank you!

The only thing I would have done differently is to have the choke rewound as opposed to changing it.
How did the power transformer perform compared to the stock power transformer?

You know a reputable transformer re-winder in Australia?

@@HeadfirstAmps Alkay Transformers in Kingsgrove, Sydney. I used to work there many years ago when original owner (Lothar Keidel) was managing the business.
At that time we re wound everything including very complex Dynacord multi-sectioned tube OP transformers. WRT shorted choke, this would effectively tie the Screen to the HT
thereby negating it's 'isolating' properties of HT ripple and noise. You won't see it in Guitar amps but some older tube amps even used separate regulated screen supplies. A sort-of variation of this is Power Scaling with the Screen Grid. Back to Transformers - give Jim a call at Alkay, he can wind (or rewind) anything you need.
