Apex Legends is a battle royal game in which up to 20 three-man squads land on an island before searching for weapons and supplies to then attempt to defeat all other players in combat. The final team alive wins the round. The game is set in the same sci-fi universe as Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall franchise.[1]
Unlike other prominent battle-royal games, Apex Legends is also similar to "hero shooters", in that it allows the player to choose from a selection of player characters before each round, each with a unique set of skills. The characters are known as "legends" within the game.[2]
The game focuses heavily on teamwork and includes a much praised system of nonverbal communication, known as "Pinging", which allows players to use their game controller in order to communicate to their team things like directions, weapon locations, enemies and suggested strategies.[3]
Using the "Ping" command will create an icon (a so-called Ping) to appear at the location where the player is looking which is accompanied by an appropriate voice line from the player's in-game character. The Ping will be visible to the player as well as their teammates for a short duration. The Ping icon defaults to a "Go" command, which suggests to the squad an area to explore. However, if the player is looking at something specific (such as a weapon or a piece of equipment) then the Ping icon will change contextually to highlight the presence and location of that object.[4]
The Ping command system also has more advanced functionalities, such as tapping the Ping command twice in quick succession to highlight enemies, holding down the Ping command to bring up more detailed options, Pinging when you need ammunition or equipment, context-based Pings which are unique to characters within the game, and being able to respond to or cancel prior Pings.[4]

I think octane is just jealous of seer and his loving parent having ass and covers that up by looking for the things he doesn't like about seer

@@tokofukawap4055 even adults heal from their traumatizing childhoods. octane had a father that never cared about him outside of survival, and never even knew his mother. obi, by contrast, at least had loving parents.
Maybe not hatred but more of the fact that Octane's jealous because Seer has parental acceptance, and just simply thinking Seer is boring. But I think there's definitely something more to Octane and Seer's relationship since Octane seemed kinda concerned when activating the Seer teaser in S9.

It’s definitely more complicated then that.
Octane doesn’t really hate Seer, but he’s jealous of him.
Example 1: Seer is calm, understanding, and rather peaceful. The complete opposite of Octane, yet Seer manages to gain just as much popularity as Octane, without having to blow off his legs, or do some dangerous crazy stunt. Just like the video mentioned, Octane felt the need to go out of his way to do insane stunts to get reactions out of people, reactions he never got out of his father.
Especially considering Seers audience is completely different from Octanes. It’s true, Octane only has his fan base because he does the things he does, he adds shock value to the game, but his fans don’t care about his health or safety, they saw it as just another crazy stunt when he lost both of his legs and was nearly on the brink of death. Seers fans on the other hand RELATE with seer, which is why they like him.
2. Seer has accepting and amazing parents, that always stood by him. Octane has extreme daddy issues, and doesn’t even know his mother. It’s not even just the fact that Seers parents stood by Seer despite his disability, but actually CARED for him as their child, not tolerate him as another human. Octanes dad pushed the fact that Octane would never be good enough if not for proving himself, whilst seer didn’t need to desperately fight for his parents attention.

Let’s not mention the fact that Seers uniqueness is something that came naturally to him, whilist Octane has to do all these crazy stunts and pretend to be this completely different person to stand out. Seer from the get-go just 1 upped Octane in literally everything.
It reminds me of the middle child and youngest child dynamic you see in movies, when Octane desperately tried to rebel against his father, it ended up in his father practically disowning him, but seer got not only his fathers love and affection but also his mother.
So when Octane felt that the only thing he had in life was his uniqueness as a legend, and seer took that from him just by being born as…well Seer. Octane feels that seer just 1 upped him in everything, even in the thing that Octane clung onto because by doing what he did, he got attention. Attention he never received. And I’m his eyes that was enough. But seer gets attention, affection, and in octanes eyes acts like his really humble and grounded dude. You can see why Octane wouldn’t like him.

It's official, Seer has the best parents out of all the legends, with Mirage trailing closely behind him.
Edit:
Best parents award goes to Seer's for sheltering and supporting their son even if he was cursed
Best mom award goes to Mirage's for supporting her son's interest in holo-technology (as well as those heartfelt moments of mirage pretending his decoys to be his brother and his mom playing along)
Best dad award ends with a tie between Wattson's and Gibby's for seperate reasons
The bar must have been really set very low. While her mom may be a sweet lady with dementia, his dad did abandon him never to be seen again.
...well, I was only counting her mom. But I guess Crypto and Pathfinder have good parents. Thats debatable since Pathfinder doesn't HAVE parents but his creators were pretty great people.

One of his biggest theories proved to be true before, the one about how Crypto's adoptive mom is Caustic's real mom. So, honestly, I trust him a lot when it comes to theories, it just makes sense

@@Wind_Cursed, He's certainly not bad, but I don't believe that that specific theory (of mystic being caustic mom, as well as cryptos, which I will call the mother dilemma) is the best example. For one thing, the mother dilemma was a mystery that was MENT to be solved. Clues were in place for the prediction to be made by anyone. Character development, on the other hand, has just been an "alright, here is some new lore that cannot be predicted because there were no hints prior".
In this particular case, it doesn't look like respawning was explicitly hinting at it, and by the current evidence, it seems like they just has a shallow rivalry. A little, "tortoise and the hair" thing. I don't think that octane will have huge bits of character development, because, though he is a prime candidate for it, the octane we have come to know and love is the fast and immature one. Being that one of his main traits is "immature", giving him charter development would take away a fairly large portion of him.
I think that this is a case of two mindsets for example usually when two people are polar opposites then they don't connect or talk to each other bur in the apex games they are forced to communicate so judging by what has happened so far there will probably be a small conflict between them but they do not have enough negativity and hate towards each other to form a relationship like caustic and crypto but that's just my opinion and can't wait till the next theory keep up the god vids almost at 100k

I don't think Octance hates Seer at all. I think he envies him more than anything. Seer has a good head on his shoulder and is very philosophical in the way that he carries himself. Octane on the other hand is act now, think later. Honestly, I feel like Octance should really listen to what Seer has to say. Maybe he can finally learn how to have some patience! 😂

I don't think Octane HATES Seer, I just think he finds Seer annoyingly boring, as he is all about fast paced activities like stunts and suck, while Seer is more about the arts and meaning behind it, taking it all slow.

I don't think Octane has the capability to hate anyone as he's too busy chasing the rush. He just finds Seer to not he thrilling as Seer's whole schtick is it stop chasing the rush.

I agree with other comments. I imagine that he has the season 10 teaser line of "Ay no it's this guy" just because he likes the Apex games as they give him a lot of adrenaline. Playing with someone who is slow and calculating is boring, and fighting against them is even worse.

I feel like the whole curse thing in seers past makes no sense to building his character, he didn’t get his ability and stuff from his curse he got it from his parents training him, I might be stupid but I never understood his curse like what does it actually do?
people are superstitious bunch.
There are real life examples in various cultures where people who are different, like being Albino or having blue eyes in communities where it is uncommon are seen as a curse or inheritor of dangerous mystical powers.
Now add that to the fact that Seer was born on the day the moon of Borus planet explodes. Of course people would inclined to believe that he is born acursed and under bad omen.
Seer decided to "control the narrative". People already think he's cursed so there's no point on fighting for acceptance from them, he just do his own thing and be a celebrity icon for people who feel outcasted. Hence letting him defined "the curse" on his own terms, not others

ya this brand is kinda ripping u off with the PC's. the hero has a $550
markup. meaning that pc to buy the parts costs $650. these builds are
just criminal. a nearly $3,000 pc has a last gen cpu and a
3070.something from redux PC's or fordge PC's would give you a lot more
value. If you really want a budget PC that you wont get scammed on just
buy the parts yourself and get someone you trust or go to micro center
and get it built for you. no add i just dont want you to get scammed
