Met the lads at jamieson pub good bunch of down to earth guys, keep the vids rollin.
Maybe look into building a DIY canopy frame and wrap it in canvas, seems very affordable

Thanks Richard, I though to include that part in just to demonstrate that you don't always have to do the track, especially in remote areas where it could most likely damage you car and potentially leave you stranded !
We labelled that sign. We came down it and it was a nightmare and we are all in patrols on 35s. Took us about 2.5 hrs going down
Howdy boys. I'm sure I spotted you guys 'airing down' just off the Dargo High Plains Road. I'm an old bloke in a new 79 with a Mars camper trailer on the back. I was honking along the misty, rainy High Plains road on my way to the Hotham Heights turn off and back to the Mallee.
The reason I reckon it was your convoy was because it was the same day and no one else was wheeling that day, too wet. I had trouble getting up to the Hotham turn off it was that slippery and steep.
Love your videos, such a great change from the semi-commercial sponsored rubbish now clogging the net. Turning back before you break gear in the High Country is very smart. Yeah it was wet but not cold and when it snows up there in January, people go missing.
Just ordered a sticker and proud to put it on my camper. Top stuff.

Can't even imagine that place in winter geez! Looked like a good trip! We went to Bremer Bay and got smashed by wind but some of the most unreal beaches you'll ever see!
I was about 10 km from you guys in my Subaru with a mate in his and we toured about for a week and another mate came in his 60. We did close to 700km around the high country and saw many huts. Finding more places I can test the Subaru’s capabilities. Coming across from mt Buller to mt Stirling in the pouring rain was a different experience on the gap track. Came across a busted navara and also a few others trying to come across with mixed success. Being from Sa it was a hike but I do it every year now

Top looking spots the weather certainly adds challenges when it rains have a look at putting a canvas canopy on the back keep your gear dry we even sleep in ours, great video 👍👍👍👍👍👍

mate and i headed up to the high country before Christmas, had a ball, attempted junction spur onto billy goats but the auto trans in one of our vehicles over heated as did the brakes so we decided to turn back and just chill around dargo
