Such a bizarre final boss ost. They must have been too rushed for Shimomura to compose hers. You could hear her building up to a true final boss theme for Xehanort in the cutscene right before, too. Praying that she still composes a boss theme for Master X and they patch it in. She had resolved the “Rage Awakened” theme during the Terranort fight (where it finally makes a triumphant return to Terra’s theme) so there was no reason for it to come back. The theme for Armored Xehanort worked because it was such a weird and creepy boss fight. But for the Old Man himself, who gave his name to this entire saga, to not have the classic Shimomura/KH sound in the final battle was a disappointing note to end on. It should have been a musical climax, but that honor so far belongs to Ansem, Xemnas and Young X. Here’s hoping!
@@iggyp4390 Yoko Shimomura didn't even get to compose the final boss theme. Apparently there was some other guy who composed the final boss theme, but I forgot his name
I love how in the small cutscene when Xemnas, Ansem, and Young Xehanort stand back for cover while Master Xehanort uses the ancient keyblades, that shown how they all think alike and knew what to do in a pattern.
This fight was everything I dreamed of when I was younger. A final showdown of all (or some in this case) the final bosses at the same time. And my god this Yoko mash up! Suffice to say, my inner child was beyond pleased.
Same. The entirety of the Keyblade Graveyard world in KH3 is everything I've always wanted since I was a kid. It's crazy how this game delivered exactly what I've wanted
Yessss!!!!! This is exactly how i feel !!!! My younger self who was wishing this someday is sitting right next to me as i fight yelling GET HIS ASS !!!!!
EternalMirage man I was honestly extremely disappointed in this game. I feel like most people like it for the nostalgia and not the actual game. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a BAD game. It’d be a lot better if I never played the first two. The final fights were way to easy to call “epic”. After I finished my first run on proud, I immediately started a Zero Exp run. And other than fights just taking longer(due to strength) it was no more difficult than doing a leveled run. Idk. They did some really weird stuff in this game for seemingly no reason. Remove reflect magic and added water. Which is the exact same as fire just with water. But fire is already countered by blizzard so the point of water is...? And where the hell did shotlock come from? I never use it except to climb the map to continue forward. It messes with the flow of combat along with the new Keyblade forms which is just....why? And the cooking....come on....you don’t give use a Sephiroth fight but are totally okay with completely jacking the cooking system from an FF game? What? I mean, actually, what?!?!? (I have no problem with the cooking mechanics. It just seems odd the creator said KH grew enough to not need FF influence, but were ok with copying an entire FF system?) idk. It’s just really weird. And then like, you can count heartless types on two hands. Watered down heartless at that. You can completely ignore large bodies in this game and actually kill them by accident. Game feels extremely lazy and rushed and released before it should have been because of course people would buy it. Me included. Also I wanna know what fucking Disney executive thought it was a good idea to throw spinning teacups in the middle of a badass fight. I hope Square can eventually ditch Disney. I have a feeling Square is extremely limited on what they can/can’t due being stuck under the thumb of Disney. So much stuff just feels off and out of place.
@@herbaljellyfish9842 i agree to disagree yeah the game has its flaws but what game doesnt personally i thought it was a nice conclusion to the seekers of darkness saga . The disney themed rides was kinda unnecessary but was easily overlooked. The cooking parts i just ignored it really wasnt a necessary . The boss fights were breathtaking , the fights against organization 13 when you had to fight them all at one time while xehonort was standing on top of the mtn watching from afar was epic all in itself . As far as ff goes if you read any articles concerning ff being in kh3 nomura said a year before the game was even released that " there was no need for ff to be in kh3 due to the fact that its story was wrapped up during the events of radiant gardens in kh2" and he felt that adding on a ff story would have made the kh story longer which is what he did not want . He wanted to keep the story straight to the point leading up to the final battle against xehonort . Which is what kh3 was all about stopping xehonort once and for all and besides they are talking about adding a ff world to future dlc .
@@ExtremeDarkness I too agree to disagree. But his statement and what many people say about it doesn't make sense to me. The series is literally based around a mesh of a variety of worlds. Why don't people say the same thing about the heavy Disney influence? I mean, it's developed by square enix AND DIsney. The series is 90% iconic Disney staples and Enix can't include their own iconic staples? If the series doesn't need FF lore, why does it need Disney? The lore would stay the same regardless what the worlds are(including disney castle to keep mickey, don and goof.) I honestly don't care about FF lore. THAT COMBAT SYSTEM AND GETTING TO FIGHT SEPHIROTH WAS EPIC!!! It is irrefutably one of the biggest and most iconic part of the first two main installments. Not including a sephi fight in the third main installment was like getting a bj from your gf and she just walks off before you finish lol. These are obviously just my opinions.
This is such an incredible track for an epic moment. Combining two tracks is already an amazing job, but combining three!? Three iconic enemies of the series, three final bosses, three iconic music tracks... all packaged in one awesome battle. Forze del Male, Darkness of the Unknown and Dark Impetus. Perfection. I do wonder what the official name for this track will be. EDIT 25/09/2020: With the OST tracklist revealed on the website, we finally know its official name; Forza Finale. Simple, but pretty epic in my opinion.
@Patrick Mahoney Well, it's catching up quite fast. Almost every upload came with that name. Though I can't exactly complain as it does sound quite fitting. Or not, considering it's even the real Xehanort himself, which is ironic.
MX:Fall before these broken keys! YX:That's checkmate! Xemnas:Are you ready? Ansem:Ha ha ha ha! MX:Surrender! Ansem:Shadow! YX:Stop him! Xemnas:Pay attenction!
This battle is without a doubt the best battle in the game! Fighting the 3 final bosses from 1 2 and 3D at the same time with Riku and Mickey was one of the most epic feelings I have ever witnessed in this series!
I have this battle as my number 2 pick for best KH3 fight. Number One was the Saix fight because Roxas coming back and seeing Xion again is all I've really wanted from the series for some time.
I'll be honest, fighting alongside with mickey lowkey makes me sometimes it's not epic enough cause come on. A freakin mouse fighting original characters. Like if it was Lea instead of Mickey I feel like it would be more epic to me personally. But overall, this is the best fight and my favorite moment in the KH series
@@ricaroo3284 I'm the opposite, for some reason fighting with Mickey makes a fight a little more epic cause since he's the mascot of Disney, and hyped up to be one of the better Keyblade wielders, it just seems awesome to me
GOD this video is so... good. The timing and editing, the attacks, that moment at the 00:23 mark when all three of them fight you one after the other as Sora dodges around at an angle??? Your using more than 3 keyblades and formchanges? Changing targets as their part of the song comes up??? Just beautiful. An amazing song and an amazing video to go along with it!!
My favorite part of KH3 was hands down the Key Blade graveyard clashes with this fight taking the cake. I really hope we get some kind of update/DLC in the future that lets us replay these fights. Maybe some KH3 data battles??
All I want is also a data battles of the original XIII (with the apprentices of Ansem like Xaldin, Lexaeus, Vexen, etc.) with enhanced and improved moveset. Would kill for another fight against Xaldin, Zexion, and Roxas. :3 For old times' sake, too. XD
I'd really love it, I'm hoping these data battles on kh3 since I've finished the keyblade graveyard. According to last interviews I'm sure they'll put it on dlcs😁😁
This is likely my most favorite fight in the entire game. The background, the music, the intensity.. it all comes together into a rush of adrenaline as you plow through all three
I loved this fight. One of my favorites of all time. Even better than the Zodiac Phantom superboss. If you play on Proud LV1 without armor, they have a lot of one hit kill attacks, and actually having to learn to fight 3 extremely hard bosses at once was just...perfect. It was so intense and this musical masterpiece made it even better. The entire end game was just masterful. Easily the best, most epic, and most challenging end game in the series. I don't know how they'll top it. :-3
@@Domkhxiii They actually fixed that a while ago. And it was fairly easy to bypass by performing Sora and Riku's Limit. Although if you didn't know thay then... RIP at LV1. I really gotta continue my KH2FMCMLV1 playthrough someday. :-3
Oh my gosh this battle. We come back to all four main versions of Xehanort we've come to know, 3 we fight head on, and old Master Xehanort controlling the keyblades in the background, just purely amazing. Not to mention this EPIC TRACK!!! This game has a ton of remixes and mashups, and this one is right up there with The other promise/Vector to the heavens for me.
@ 1:50, the moment sora transforms crystal snow to blizzard blades was soooooo friggin cinematic and i love the camera pan and the transformations along with the music, Nice move Everglow. You so cool
seriously this fight gave me so much feels and at the end i felt sad towards xemnas and ansem. ansem maybe felt glad that riku made this far and made darkness for his own and xemnas saying he felt lonely and took things for granted.... man i felt that and young xehanort being a complete dick till the very end it was very fitting lmao either way this video is really amazing and probably took a long time to make considering you showed almost every keyblade.Just goes to show that sora is really overpowered and it really feels like you are doing it all to take down these amazing bosses you been fighting throughout years throughout different games with non other than riku and king mickey by our side it really felt like great showdown AND NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT COMBOS THE EVIL TRIO DOES!? like when master xehanort starts moving keyblades all around to create a sort of sandstrorm ansem, young xehanort and xemnas doing their attacks so nicely choreographed it felt like they had a game plan like "ok so you do this and ill do that and he will do this. we can finally put that dumb kid in his place" or something like that lmao ALSO THE MUSIC IS JUST FUCKING AMAZING I WANT TO CRY seriously everglow this is amazing im hoping you will make a montage like this with xehanort clones and maybe xehanort himself? :)
It's the finale, what do you expect? If they don't have the most epic, intense, nostalgia-inducing fights in the entire series, then it just wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts 3
My heart was freaking POUNDING at this fight 3 of the greatest childhood enemies in this series, ALL fighting together while Xehanort sits at the top watching
I swear you are a true keyblade master man. Everytime I see one of your videos and see what an expert you are at this game it really makes me look like wow there is so much awesome in these games that I really missed and it really inspires me to really get better and better at this stuff man awesome work just awesome
Favorite theme and favorite boss battle of the entire game. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed this boss battle. It was better than how I pictured it in my head while waiting for this magnificent game.
It goes to show you how much a devious, evil, unforgiving brat he really is for his age. Unlike the others who finally understood about losing and admiring their down falls. He hasn't learned anything from his defeat, as believes with pride that he's won to his last breath.
Yeah he had no chill. With Ansem and Xemnas, I just wanted to come out of Sora as the player and hug them both to thank them for all the fun years we’ve had together. Especially Xemnas, cuz his boss fight always calms me and he is my husbando.
I played this battle way under leveled. I got lucky and should have died several times. I remember my heart pounding as I pressed the cure button shortcut when immediately available followed instantly by a hit that would have killed me. Mickey or Riku were also nice enough to heal me when I knew I couldn’t last long enough for my magic to restore. I did not deserve to win this fight.
Jakegh7 I had the same experience, I was level 35~ when I got to the keyblade graveyard the first scala ad caelum fight and this fight made my heart pounding
This fight is one of the best ones in KH3, together with Roxas, Xion and Sora vs Saix, just for the sheer atmosphere it creates. It is really intense, and the Oscurità di Xehanort works wonders, but I'm sad that I absolutely did not have any problems with this fight. It did not feel like a struggle, it was just too easy. Both in the context of frequency of the attacks of YX, Ansem SoD and Xemnas and how little damage they dealt, even without abilities like Defender or Damage Syphoon. Did not waste any Moogle Coin, nor did I use Withstand Combo or Leaf Bracer. I'm holding my thumbs for a patch that'll massively scale the difficulty, especially on Proud and Standard.
This was the most EPIC fight ever. I wish I could experience KH3 day one all over again. I was screaming out of excitement during this fight and the music was EVERYTHING!!!!!!! 😭😭😭💯
I cant even describe the emotions I felt playing this fight LITERALLY 0:10 SECONDS IN IDK Y but everytime I see them fall back like that all I can think is "Oh shit its about to get REAL!!!"
My only wish is that all the bosses had a bit more health or defense, just so the fights can last a little longer. Cause these are definitely moments I love to prolong as much as possible.
Ansem's last words: I never stood a chance against you. GGs (fades away) Xemnas's last words: You have incredible strength. GGs (fades away) Young Xehanort's last words: LOL Fuck you, Sora. Get rekt. (fades away)
My favorite fight and favorite boss music. But...I can't help but feel these insanely strong versions of Xehanort got a kick in their balls in terms of power. I kinda wished that, once you get 1 of them down to like 2-3 healthbars left, they'd create their own little universe right there (because darkness) where they take only themself and Sora to fight alone while Riku & Mickey continue fighting the other 2. (Of course they don't actually fight eachother, the game simply waits for you to finish your fight with the guy you hurt the most so far, but lorewise they'd still be fighting eachother.) Like, i don't need a World of Chaos or Armored Xemnas, but i remember fighting Ansem, SoD in KH1 and he had so much more up his sleeve. Let him spawn 2 Darksides or something. Let Xemnas go Final Xemnas. Let Young Xehanort turn his fight into a fight against time. I still love the battle, don't get me wrong. This is my favorite fight by a mile. But it's only human to want more. :P
Well, it’s unlikely that Xemnas would go Final Xemnas, as I’m pretty sure that, chronology-wise, the Xemnas that we fight here is from before he merged with his artificial Kingdom Hearts and got himself a zebra coat. Same with World of Chaos Ansem. For both of those characters, those final forms are the only times they ever reach that point.
Now I had high expectations for both the music of the final boss and the final boss itself to beat Kingdom Hearts 2's, but unfortunately it fell short. Now that being said, I ask you...... what sounds more final and climatic? This masterpiece, or the actual final boss theme? Exactly
My god was KH3's final boss a dissapointing joke. From the abysmal music to the anticlimatic battle itself. It would break my heart if Re:Mind does nothing to change it. And it's quite sad that we may or may not get a change from paying extra for DLC that should have been in this game from the start.
My God, you can really tell Yokos style from the other two composers. Shes pretty heavy on her piano, violin/solo violin, and her choir is more aggressive lol she kinda reminds me of the Han Zimmer of Video game composing. God I love her work!
As much as I love Xemnas, Ansem is probably the one with the best moveset for Smash... As a playable character at least. Xemnas' ballet impression would make him a fun assist though.
I never imagined - not even in my wildest dreams - of fighting against Ansem, Xemnas and Young Xehanort at the same time. I did know we had to face them again in KH3 but somehow I never considered a 3 vs 3 battle.

It should have been a musical climax, but that honor so far belongs to Ansem, Xemnas and Young X.
Here’s hoping!

I love how in the small cutscene when Xemnas, Ansem, and Young Xehanort stand back for cover while Master Xehanort uses the ancient keyblades, that shown how they all think alike and knew what to do in a pattern.
My favorite scene!
Xemnas part is... Amazing.

@@fakerfreak7298 That's not the official name. That's just what the uploader came up with.

"Sleep in Darkness!"
"Are you back for more?"
"You'll never prevail, you know?!"
Its weird hearing Young Xehanort say "you know". It's just not something I expected Xehanort to say even during his youth.
Of all the fights I was waiting for you to make a montage for, this was on the top of my list, thank you
2:49 still get goosebumps every time xenmas theme kicks in
This just gives a whole new meaning of facing yourself now the union X is over.

It's official. Yoko is a goddess and my religion.
Young Xehanort Violin, I love it
I love his theme because of it.
XD

Yeah and they only give 10 save slots so cant even save all your favourite boss fights!! :(

Your visual timing together with the epic ost makes this extremely satisfying. Thank you!
That's fucking amazing how you edited that firaga combo with the music against Xemnas at 5:20 - 5:30. You really put your all into your work man

Easily the best, most epic, and most challenging end game in the series.

either way this video is really amazing and probably took a long time to make considering you showed almost every keyblade.Just goes to show that sora is really overpowered and it really feels like you are doing it all to take down these amazing bosses you been fighting throughout years throughout different games with non other than riku and king mickey by our side it really felt like great showdown AND NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT COMBOS THE EVIL TRIO DOES!? like when master xehanort starts moving keyblades all around to create a sort of sandstrorm ansem, young xehanort and xemnas doing their attacks so nicely choreographed it felt like they had a game plan like "ok so you do this and ill do that and he will do this. we can finally put that dumb kid in his place" or something like that lmao

1:49 I don't know what it is but that Violin just gets me every single time, my favorite part of the whole song. Just hypes me up! 😂
Young Xehanort is so not remorseful at all with his own last breath unlike with Ansem and Xemnas
It goes to show you how much a devious, evil, unforgiving brat he really is for his age. Unlike the others who finally understood about losing and admiring their down falls. He hasn't learned anything from his defeat, as believes with pride that he's won to his last breath.

Jakegh7 I had the same experience, I was level 35~ when I got to the keyblade graveyard
the first scala ad caelum fight and this fight made my heart pounding
Now play it in critical mode :trol:
This all it needs is... reaction commends like KH2. Where it goes into a small scene. That would of been amazing!!
To this day Young Xehanort is still flinchable. Hahaha
He came from dream drop distance where nobody has freaking stutter and everyone has short as revenge values
I'm still salty at him from his secret boss battle in BBS.
...I still have psychological scars from his "superboss" fight in BBS.

This is my favorite battle of the game and I completely agree with you about everything!!
These guys on critical mode are going to kick my ass.
(Of course they don't actually fight eachother, the game simply waits for you to finish your fight with the guy you hurt the most so far, but lorewise they'd still be fighting eachother.)
Like, i don't need a World of Chaos or Armored Xemnas, but i remember fighting Ansem, SoD in KH1 and he had so much more up his sleeve.
Thats...actually a pretty cool idea! what a missed opportunity!
I used to listen to each of their respective themes all the time, this just saves me a few clicks. XD
The moment Xehanort summon Storm Key is give us PTSD of BBS battling him with Wayfinder Trio
when young xehanorts theme kicked i remembered beating him with terra without thunder surge and just was in awe of how amazing this fight was.
This battle Theme is sooo sick, and even the kh story continues it would be take years when we will have a Fight like this

Okay but imagine being Ansem, time travel jumping from fighting KH1 Sora and Riku to THIS.

You know if Sora gets into Smash, I'd love it if one of these 3 bosses join in as their respective villain.
As much as I love Xemnas, Ansem is probably the one with the best moveset for Smash... As a playable character at least. Xemnas' ballet impression would make him a fun assist though.
I want Xemnas then!
It will probably be Ansem before Xemnas or Xehanort as Ansem is the OG final boss and his moveset has more variety
