The fact we went to ten men and were still able to rescue it is partly due to the Rashford sub tbh.
After Sir Alex, five managers and 2 care taker managers were appointed, no matter how many managers we keep changing the problem is something else, no body calling out staff managing transfers, fitness. Nobody is calling out to fix the lack of discipline and the toxic dressing room. Even if we appoint zidane, at the end of the season people will want him gone as well.

Not sure how popular this opinion will be but on Bruno's performances. Back in the good old days when I was playing, I was made captain and there was a massive drop off in my performances to the point I even noticed it myself. It's to do with needing to focus on other players more and your game ends up slipping. Some people are able to deal with it better than others. I was not one. I believe the same is happening with Bruno.

What game were they watching? He was just less sh1t than he has been. This does not make a great game.

Most people form an opinion based on the commentary. They do not really observe all aspects of a player's performance. That is why we get shocking opinions from people like the panelists you pointed out.
My view on eth is that i only see his playing style in two matches since the season started, he's not consistent with it that's why he's not progressing the team. The other issue is that his constant picking of certain players when they play bad. Sancho spoke facts on that part unfortunate.
Rashford did well offensively in the offense but he was useless defensively.
Maybe he should have tried move him to the right wing and see if that helped.

Unfortunately, Marks' real desire to defend Ten Hag at every point forces him to attack for logical thinking, Rashford was playing well and causing Porto problems if Ten Hag wanted Rashford to be more defensive he simply has a conversation with Rashford to suport Dalot. if he wanted Gnacho to start, he should have started him and then swapped Rashford at Half time as Gnacho would understand he is recovering from injury, where as Rashford will now be baffled to why he was pulled off at half time when actually playing well after 12 months of constantly being selected and playing like a zombie.

Personally on the manager, I'm just a bit concerned that we're talking about his future now the same way we were exactly a year ago. That doesn't say much about the progress, does it? We're just living in this perpetual game-to-game limbo. And if we win on Sunday, he'll stay but we'll be back here having the same conversation in a month after a couple more bad results. INEOS offered the job to Tuchel; regardless of whether you would've wanted him, that fact alone should make it obvious ten Hag isn't their man. There is a fragility with this team which wasnt there in the 90s and 00s. The great teams of those eras had captains throughout, there are no captains in this team.
The defence was woeful last night, compounded by the lack of support from the midfield and wingers. Nothing new but this is ETHs design. It’s no coincidence that everyone, even the better players in the squad, are playing extremely poor. It can be traced back to the subpar coaching and team setup.
If only Eriksen was played regularly as a No: 10 PL. One of the most complete players in the Premier League for the last 10+ years is out of position because of no clear reasons why.

Antony wasn't bad when he came on. I don't think he's been given a fair shake. He brought some energy and pace down the right.
As an outsider I think he will be sacked in November/December. That Chelsea game is a big point because both clubs were near neck and neck.
Chelsea finished above United but United won the Cup. A loss to Chelsea like the games against Liverpool and Spurs will sack him.
Alternatively if he survives November it’ll be the positions in UEL table that condemns him. If United are in the bottom 8 they may need to sack him to get the bounce to get them through to the knock outs.
United really should be winning the UEL this season.
I don't know what the club should do. We have how many manager for the last decade, yet we never have a style of play (except counter attack). I don't know who is to blame? the coaching staff or player? There is a root problem and keep going on this cycle will not change.
United should be pulling out every stop to get Emery for next season , give him what he wants , don’t care if we have to sell a rashford or someone else to make it happen
