LETHAL WEAPON (SNES) - PLAY IT THROUGH

- Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Lethal Weapon for the SNES brought to us by Ocean. Based on the 3rd Lethal Weapon movie the game has you play as Riggs or Murtaugh blasting and platforming your way through five missions. You can select the first four in any order and then unlock the fifth and final mission. The game doesn't feature extra lives but after losing all your health with one character you become the other and once they are both gone its game over. Overall the game is another pretty poor licensed game from Ocean but the soundtrack is ok and its gameplay could have been a lot worse. This version is defiantly better then the NES version. Enjoy!

The 1st and final levels are based on the 2nd and 3rd installment of the franchise.
I knew that the 5th level was based on the 3rd movie (the final boss is Jack Travis) but didn’t knew that the first level was based on the 2nd movie and by the way the 3rd mission is based in the 3rd movie (the scene when they (actually Riggs) tried to defuse a bomb and he ended detonated instead)
Certainly a great soundtrack if nothing else.
A lot of games have sewer sections, usually with magically blue "clean" water to leave the nastiness or lack thereof up to your imagination, but I've never seen one which so unabashedly and undeniably makes you swim through rivers of piss and piss soaked crocodiles while dodging incoming piles of shit. Hidden gem material for that alone.
I remember seeing this going for like a 3rd of what other Snes games went for, I was like geez I wonder why.. pretty obvious when you've seen the gameplay..
Great play-through. Thank you for this.
I don't know if you answered this question before on the comment section Or in a video, but how do you choose the games you with play through? It might sounds like a stupid question, but there's a couple of answers that come to my mind and I would like to know.
2:16 Just like you saw in the movie at target practice that Riggs fire his gun faster and he's better shooter making a happy face on the target. But how either Roger has a better jump in this game the jumping is much more important than a the reign of fire from your gun in the snes game.
I would like to see a lethal weapon on ps4
this game is damn hard , I used to play it with my little sister back in late 90s . but now thanks to emulators we have save states , so no needs to start over when you lose
I have this for the Super NES.
I'm surprised you didn't use the roll at any point. if I remember it's down and kick. It's kind of a useful invulnerability roll I use mostly on the flame throwers and the final boss. Good run though much better than what I can do.
I did it a few times in practice and ended up just rolling off things or after the roll hitting another enemy so I didn't bother. Maybe I should have practiced it more.
Gotta say, I always loved that title theme. I blew at this game when I was a kid, though.
i had it on amiga! good ole times...
This definitely has the look and feel of a ported amiga game.
I actually liked this game back in the day
Figures that the sewers would have alligators in them lol
Do a speedrun for this game on hard mode :D
Funny at the end of the game they spelled organized organised
Ocean was a British company. Hence the 's'...
Sorta comical-looking to say the leest; just look at the size of their heads and the gun whenever Murtaugh fires it =p Still a fun p.i.t. to watch though
Is it just me, Or does some of the newer games feel much like a graveyard. You know... Some old characters. Battle that you've beaten. And As for the saddest parts of the games. The match making/Pairing servers are closed down.
This game is still alive to me. It's because... I donno. Unfinished Business? Or Just that it can't connect to the internet. It's a lively game, I just can't figure out why...
It's probably just you and a small subset of people lol
Plenty of new games are great and full of life. just have to go out and find them =j
Once again, Ocean puts more time and effort in producing a pretty amazing soundtrack, to supplement the horrible gameplay.
Thank composer Barry Leitch, he's a legend!
I've never been able to beat this. Luckily the game has level select at the start so you can hear all the level tracks.whenever you want
Hehe what a joke of a game. I guess "white man cant jump" is what they had in mind. Glad I never played this.
Wow -- horrible game!
