I asked a Congolese about that and, from his reply, it seems like the people assisting Rwanda also made sure that there was an arms embargo on Congo which, if I am not wrong, was recently cancelled. All along, Congo should have been approaching people who could provide them the arms in spite of the embargo but I see the Congolese president visiting France who, as part of the EU, are assisting Rwanda. This world is crazy.

Knowing the minerals are in the Congo but signing an MOU with the aggressor territory? We always knew they were involved in this, if they wanted the minerals they could have contacted Kinshasa. Typical colonialists!

You must remember that this conflict between Rwanda and Congo was set into motion by those same people when they arbitrarily gave the mineral rich part of Rwanda to those who are not able to govern, I.e. Congo!

They deal with Kagame simply because he's pitched himself as the main supply of DRC's minerals and has been able to provide them with an endless supply of illegally obtained minerals from Congo that he gets ethically approved so the buyers don't get in trouble when they purchase. when the unelected and incompotent Congolese dictator with no networking skills Joseph Kabila was busy filling his pockets, Kagame had established himself as the main supplier of DRC's minerals which he was able to steal with ease and get it ethically approved and sell to the world as Rwanda's. However since Tshisekedi came into power he's attempting to put a stop to this and is redirecting the buyers to purchase directly from Congo and not Kagame so the money can start flowing back to Congo. THIS IS THE REAL REASON FOR KAGAME'S CURRENT AGGRESSION TOWARDS CONGO. IT'S AN ECONOMIC WAR!. End of story. He wants Tshisekedi to keep quiet and allow him to continue stealing and selling Congo's minerlas like Kabila allowed him to but he's pretending that his aggression via M23/RDF is about freedom for Congolese tutsi.

Get your facts correct; you are disseminating false info. There is no African country that has no mineral resources or is poor. Rwanda has gold, rare earth minerals, gemstones, cobalt, iron, and lithium. Rwanda plans to exploit its own mineral deposits.

Look up the sources I provided. On 4th May 2024, Rwanda signed an MOU with EU to supply them with critical minerals. According to the EU the critical minerals are Lithium, Nickel, Coltan and Cobalt. Does Rwanda have these minerals?
