Tips. 1.) Don't put the bauxite in the T1 crusher put them into the T2 crusher. 2.) ore crushers are stupid important. 3.) dolomite gives basic resources, bauxite gives aluminum and some basic resources, uranitie which is the crystal looking one gives T2 resources like dolomite, iridium, uranium, and super. 4.) the importance of exploring was not for food but the means to make food as quickly as possible as you can see you had to explore several times just to build the things you need. 5.) build agility boots, exoskeleton, and all the other necessary equipment items to make things easier for you.
Also I leave an oxygen outpost all over my place also since it's convenient and I don't need to carry the resources for next time I explore which saves backpack space for important things
@@paulc2007 you can put it in T1 but I recommend T2 since it gives you 4 items instead of 3. which means you could theoretically get 4 aluminum from it instead of just 3. Also T2 is much faster than T1.
If you come across any more broken tier 2 solar panels, you maybe ought to deconstruct then reconstruct them on the spot. Get the power benefit for no material cost.
For power efficiency remove all your lower tier producers (pressure, heat and O2 generators). It's all about production per power, also the low tier production is insignificant compared to the higher tier. For fast terraforming I keep it simple and look for more than a tick or increase per second on all products. There's always crossovers, gaining pressure or heat helps improve O2 and vice versa. Keeping them all flowing (non-DLC was around 5 active machines per product) makes for very fast terraforming increase. Don't forget about mobility, moving faster and mining faster expands your range and gathering potential significantly.
I found the best way to explore is to leave a chain of your outposts as you move further out. That ice cave is actually a very expansive series of caves.
I was waiting for this episode Keep playing and enjoy how the planet changes as you terraform it. EDIT (added during or after watching the video): Unfortunetly crop seeds can only be found in containers not like flower or tree seeds (some are on "display") and loot is generated randomly so it may take long time to find any and that can brake anyones playthrou - hope they add some in some POI that are on the ground or shelf 5:39 - it did not work becose you did not have all materials Its just a teory but i think you need to have higher terraforming indeks for better crop seeds since loot scails that way in most containers Word of advise - switch to better ore crasher as soon as you can beter tier means you get more ore and faster (T1-3, T2-4, T3-5) Someone said that your base is in flood area - thats not true at least not at the point as i reached (insect stage).
PPT stands for parts per trillion, ppq stands for parts per quadrillion, nK stands for nanokelvin and pK stands for petakelvin and pa stands for pascals. Cant really explain each but should be easy to google.
great new map, made so you have to go out to get stuff, died 6 times of starvation untill i got the food growers, now iam moving to higher ground not sure what the water level is gonna be
If you want a lot of power I seen someone deconstruct the T2 solar panels at the dome covers and just placed them back down and it counted to there power usage 16:03
Just me checking the comments to see if anyone else has pointed out that bauxite is an actual aluminum ore and he was literally picking it up as he was complaining about not being able to find aluminum
The IUM was added to Aluminium because other elements ended with IUM like Sodium (Sod - yum) and Potassium (Potass - yum). Aluminium is pronounced Alumin - yum
I get the feeling this is your first time ever playing Planet Crafter. Turn in those microchips as soon as you get them. They unlock extremely helpful items, like jet packs, and the ability to run faster. Also, if you deconstruct a T2 solar panel you find, you can immediately construct it again to add free power.
i think where you have started a base, will be underwater when you reach that point. might want to build a little higher in elevation. you lose everything if the water goes over it.
KAGE seriously walk out your base and head straight. pass the caves on both sides, head up the mountain alittlle and left. MASSIVE flat land GREAT for building a huge base.....plus puts you more in the center on map
walk out your base. you are facing north { we will say} head north to the abandoned outpost. now go north east up the path. caverns on both sides. head north and slightly east. from there you can go east towards lava or north west. go northwest and continue north. you will come to the massive flat ground. best level ground on the whole map/ downsides are ice is farther away and lakes will be farther away.
The developers have changed with the last update ALUMINIUM into ALUMINUM, OMG If it is magnes-i-um and titan-i-um, i want alumin-i-um back. My heart is broken :(
Actually it was the 1.0 release which changed it; prior to that they'd hand-translated the English text so they'd used the IUPAC spellings as used by 95% of the world while for the release it got translated by American translators.

What happens if you put bauxite into the t1 version of the crusher? You said to put it in the t2 version but didn’t explain why?

5:39 - it did not work becose you did not have all materials
Its just a teory but i think you need to have higher terraforming indeks for better crop seeds since loot scails that way in most containers

"Oh look, frozen water."

Frozen water, frozen water, infant.

Don't forget to craft the exoskeleton, it'll give You more slots for chips and gear
Getting Food was the only real time pressure item on the original planet too, but the seeds were in the wrecks.
A little tip, Make a temp unlock screen - unlock your chips the delete screen save you spaces in inventory.
Kage. Maybe take at least one oxygen with you on your explorations. You can always drop them but it could make the difference.
dolomite is one of the main ores needed for the crusher,T2 crusher = aluminium
dont forget about your ore crusher. that will produce aluminum
great new map, made so you have to go out to get stuff, died 6 times of starvation untill i got the food growers, now iam moving to higher ground not sure what the water level is gonna be
You should collect dolomite and put in the ore crusher. This will give you a mix of ores without scrambling all over the place.
take bauxite (a red and grey mineral) it gives you aluminium and it allows you to build the t2 ore crusher giving you access to more materials.
Search all those machines to.
If you want a lot of power I seen someone deconstruct the T2 solar panels at the dome covers and just placed them back down and it counted to there power usage 16:03
Kage make the rover as soon as possible it will help.
Finally i think i like planet crafter more than project castaway infected etc
aluminium for everyone not usa bauxite is aluminium ore
You probably havent seen my other comment yet. Those round robot looking things are chests with blueprint chips inside.
Edit: you found it! Yay

Always thought this game needs to stack alike items!

This is definitely not his first time playing planet crafter, he's done like 5 long series on it
@@bill_and_amanda He must have been away from the game for a while then.
@@michaelbradley7529 it's been a few months, I think he played last around the reptile update or something, maybe the mammal one

also alot of the common resources however cobalt in almost impossible to FIND. dolomite is a must
Nice progress
