i have watched this a few times through tonight. in my line of work, i come across many people in different walks of lives; tourists, locals or "foreigners"... but in the while that i have been on this earth, in this land we call the garden city, a place where many cultures mesh, i found that people are people, and no matter where you are from, as long as you have good heart, a decent soul and you are doing your best at whatever you may be doing, you should be treasured and cared for. it makes no difference if you were born here or you were both elsewhere, as long as your heart is in the right place in wanting singapore to become the best it can be, you should be proud of and should have the right to live well here.
many people have come & gone in my life, many people has passed by in my life telling me that this race acts a certain way, that race i should be wary of, but think again, who gave me the right to judge at all? is not every individual given a chance to create their own impressions?
thank you for putting into words, so beautifully; the complex thoughts that we all have, the struggles that we all encounter. thank you for being so honest, thank you for bringing your art into this world, thank you for being you. x
