I’m with you on exactas , my best wins have come from a single first . And if I want more chances I’d maybe add another horse for second or double the bet , and they have never included the favorites. ( my best)They are hard to find , a single combo with confidence, but hey they do come occasionally. In the mean time I do boxing , especially trifecta boxing in Australia with 20 crying ent bets . And yes I can still lose money at 20 cents a crack .I’m not going to go on top of EQ or mandaloun , my favorites for third are Known Agenda and Highly Motivated, I’m scratching a few from my “all” bet for third and increasing that money on the favs ... Its not a budget thing it’s a priority thing and if I miss it I can always yell at my grandkids. It’ll be interesting to see what the exacta pay is for Mandaloun on top EQ........I’m routing for ya Shane, I really ( no kidding) hope you win . Good luck

Did you watch the video w Andy Beyer and the clocker? They don’t think too highly of EQ. And argh, they liked King Fury just like I did, he was going to be my big overlay! Ah well, hope he recovers quickly and races again soon.
Yes that was sad to see King's Fury out. Too bad you don't get to bed your top pick. But there will be other ones that will come your way! No I didn't see that video with Andy. Usually that is a good thing when someone as popular as him don't like horses you are going to bet. Because it will influence people to bet on other horses which increases the odds on our horses But who knows they could be right this time. Hope you find another horse or so to bet on. All the best!

How about an EQ-Highly Motivated box, rematch? With an EQ-Rock Your World-Helium 3-way box and trifecta box? Undefeated box?
That makes sense to me. Nothing wrong with those combinations.
I stayed well away from fectas for this years derby - way too close of competitors- I stuck with all smaller bets individually
