The older way down to the spring is off the road just across 19 Hwy a little house that my great aunt lived in. My great great grandfather lived in the house down spring from the big opening of what U should have been able to see. Just a little ways off of were you are now. That spring is one of the best places in Missouri pretty big if you would have the old way down. It's more like one 1 mile walk from 19 Hwy. I haven't been back home in some time, but it looks like I need to. So I can get the chance to take the old way down. Probably have it blocked off. The Dennis family owned that place for over 200 years then when the oldest son was about to die he sold the property to Missouri State Department for future American land's. 1.50 an Acer pretty good deal for over 10.000 thousand acers
