first time I saw them...was on this tour....great show....see them now every chance I get...saw them in Vegas and Anaheim...each time it's a beautiful experience...
Reminds me of “The Joshua Tree” tour in Philadelphia on my birthday. “Are you sleeping, I’m not sleeping” !!!! A line still not sleeping, it’s 2021 !!!! Fade Away !!!
I was at this show, with two of my best friends and our GF's,.... I bought 10 tix and the day before the show I still had 4 extra tix..one of my friends made a cpl of calls & by that evening they were sold at $200 each... paid for our party that night our show tix and, in at least dozens of U2 shows, over 30 years...this is one I'll never forget.. would love to see a proper high quality version of this show again. i understand there are CD and DVD's of this show released internationally only I cannot find any for sale. Bonus !! .... The Bodeans way before they got big and of course the incredible Crissy Hind and The Pretenders opened the show.! ... I remember us all wondering ..Who the F those Dalton Brothers were ...? anyone has a line on a copy of the CD or DVD of this show i am interested. shoot me a msg.
first, no problem with the person who posted the video, stand up chap for sure. I was at the LA concert in 1986 and this isn't it and can't find it. The bono who sang the set there put a white blindfold on during bad and walked to the edge of the stage. sang his heart out and was abducted to sarajevo (this is why passengers and miss sarajevo was released). the guy in this video did a fine job and sang for human rights. we like him. i'm now in 2018 in california still (prisoner of conscience in a homeless shelter in santa cruz ca) and brian eno has taken over the band to fake being bono and come out in favor of murdering children in the past few days. people in favor of human rights hate his guts as the new fake singer. the real eno is robert fripps brother whos life is at stake because of it. please stand with us and don't let a band who used to have more than one irish frontman fool you, the irishman was really on your side, isn't him anymore. i miss liam from the hothouse flowers every day personally. love him. could use a pint in santa cruz and information for sure. friends numbers gone from my phone. cheers! my river runs through limevady the roe river, this is near derry from bloody sunday. -------- Kevin Roe hopefully can find me on facebook, Kevin Roe with a UC Irvine degree....cheers again. support children at all times. all of them. they are wonderful and a blessing. cheers!
