The moment when I saw certain parts in the first TGP episode, I knew I could see right through them and I especially felt bad for Lindsay that she had to be the "bitch" on the show.
I was rooting for Lindsay. She not only had the most talent, was the most professional. So much so even tho she didnt win the show, she made it onto Glee
the thing i hated about this show is that the new directions couldn't accept that there were people that are better than them. that couldn't be happy for someone that won these talent shows. they show time and time again that they are sore losers.

Deschanel Darmodihardjo every time I see clips from Supergirl, I am STILL stunned by how different an actress Melissa Benoit is in that project versus the unrelenting Debbie Downer misery chick she was as Marley. I never would've placed odds on her being the breakout star of Glee over nearly all of the original cast, but there ya go.
Nah she's better than Rachel. Or at least more powerful and direct. Rachel would've probably sung this a bit more mellow and soft. I'd like to see the Gerber baby doing slow stuff to see her range.

She's a really good belter and outstanding talent , I don't get how her and Barrett Wilbert Weed aren't more popular even outside "Musical Theatre Kid " circles .
My dad and I usually talked about this point a lot while the show was running, the main reason New Directions usually won is because they showcased more voices. It's called show CHOIR not show "look at me I'm the star of this choir".
She didn't want to comeback to Glee because she got a lot of theatre and acting jobs. Even stelar roles. And now she performed Wicked in Broadway so, I think Alex and her got the best out of The Glee Project and launched their careers.
First of all, she wasn't "normal" at all. She was unique. She could've play an evil Rachel type of character. Which would have been an interesting change. They could've have used the twins, and this evil Rachel, with Unique, Kitty and the season 6 Glee kids and would have made an amazing new generation. Marley/Melissa, Jake, Ryder weren't up to the challenge. Unique was misused just to give fucking Marley screentime. I still can´t firgive RIB for not giving us a Unicedes duet.
It´s kinda weird hearing this song being sung by such a young voice, but it sort of makes way more sense as Eva´s supposed to be like 15 when this is sung in the musical.
Maria E. Remberg Yea, I agree. I actually think it works pretty damn well. She sounds young, fresh, exuberant, and ready to take on the world - exactly what the song is supposed to be communicating. I’m more used to Patti Lupone’s enormous performance, but I actually find that this one puts an interesting youthful twist on the number that might actually suit Evita’s character better.
If ever they do another revival or something, it would be interesting and nontraditional if they cast a fairly young Eva for the first half of Act I through "Goodnight and Thank You." Then the more mature actress takes over for the rest of the show. I think that would work very well.
I will never forgive Ryan Ian and Brad for not putting Harmony in the show as a regular.. (and sort of Lea Michele as she blacklisted Lindsey and was threatened by her talent.)
The same thing happened with Charice (I forget her character's name) from the beginning of season 2 when Lea and she did that Lady Gaga song. Oprah literally called Charice "the most talented girl in the world."

( dont kill me) while they could've introduced a brand new powerful strong not to mention beautiful voice ( just as strong as Rachels) to the new directions. It would've been interesting to see a Rachel Berry 2.0.
