Ahhhh, that ending put such a big smile on my face!! I watched _Mars One_ in the movie theater last year, it really is such a gem. If you're brazilian, it goes deeper because of the familiarity it brings. That family and their lives is just like so many people I've met in my life. It doesn't sugarcoat reality but it also doesn't imply that Brazil is only favelas in Rio and drug stuff. It's such a huge country with so many realities and families. I'm happy we chose it [for the Oscars] and that people are watching it :)
I hope somebody i used to know isn't queerbaiting. It's 2023. Why not just tell genuine complex queer / love stories and leave the tropes in the past? Sigh

To this day she says she can be whatever Char wants her to be. The filming of the series has brought them really close together so she might even get the girl in the end. :)

I must watch mars one. I've been watching lesbian webseries from brazil that fills a spot! Very low budget content but some of the actresses are great to watch in their various lesbian roles. Stupid Wife with brazils answer to angelina jolie....Priscila Buiar... hello? lol, yes please. Also Giul Abreu in Magenta, who plays alongside Buiar for a different production team.... she's great to watch on screen too. I might be getting shallow in my old age! LOL. I can almost forgive dodgy acting or production for these ladies.
