- In a shock announcement last night, Love Island star Molly-Mae confirmed her break up from long-term boyfriend Tommy Fury, just one year after their engagement. She wrote: “I never imagined our story would end, especially not in this way’. Young people are already claiming the Instagram couple’s split is the Diana and Charles’ divorce of their generation! It got us thinking - can young love ever last? And is it naive to believe in happily ever after?

They seem like such bitter women. So inappropriate to be laughing at this and making a joke out of it. At the end of the day it is a family being broken up and an innocent little child is involved.

I always just assumed they would be together forever but obviously it's sad. Apparently Tommy cheated on her multiple times and I suppose if you REALLY love someone why would you sleep with other people behind their back?
This was so distasteful. They are a young couple with a beautiful baby, it’s sad and will be difficult for them to navigate. Absolutely no need to laugh.
Why is everyone laughing? the panel and audience. I’ve been through similar when I younger and with a baby…it’s awful. If they don’t think it’s news worthy don’t discuss it.

Yes, my mother and father were an exceptional example of love and respect. So different yet so alike. They never broke up once, even doing 1 year long distance ( Africa and uk) and they were together 39 years before dad passed :(

It's sad for both of them. Both of them are at the peak of their career and with a baby it's tough. Neither one is going to give up their career fully to look after the baby.
Why would either of them ‘need’ to give up their careers to ‘fully’ look after their baby? Molly-Mae is loaded and Tommy is not poor, so I’m sure they will continue with whatever childcare arrangements they had in place before they split up. They will have to co-parent and continue to work like a lot of people do. I very much doubt Tommy did much childcare anyway. Apparently, he had a lot of spare time to cheat so Molly-Mae, his Daughter and childcare were clearly not his priority.

What I have seen on social media or heard about an elderly couple. They stick together because they show the proper love for each other. Whether there’s a reunion of an elderly couple, it’s really cute.
