Yeah, Lovebites are pretty awesome. I've seen that you've reacted to Iron Maiden, so maybe listen to The Crusade next. It's a very Iron Maiden-esque song from Lovebites. Or you do Set the World on Fire (live). That's a crazy one. But you can't go wrong with any of their music, really.
WOW! Lovebites is the best heavy metal band from Japan IMO, and also the best in the world. I discovered them about 17 months ago and became instantly addicted. They are phenomenal. They have TWO of the best guitarists in the same band!
They surpassed Dragonforce songs ago. 😉 This is the mother of all jackpots! Best metal band period! LOVSBITES made its major debut in just half a year from the first stage, and is mainly active in Japan / UK / EU, and has already received high praise in each country. In addition, their sound source is sent to Finland and mixed by Mikko Carmilla and mastered by Mika Yussila. (Finnish engineer team who has worked on many works of Northern Europe metal bands such as NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, STRATOVARIUS and AMORPHIS) Their charm is difficult to convey in the MV, so it is recommended to select the next song from "Live in Tokyo 2019-2021".
Great reaction. There is not a bad song in LOVEBITES. I can highly recommend "Break the Wall" and "Set the World on Fire" that others have commented on. Keep up the great react to LOVEBIES. 🤘🐺🎸

Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and is essentially their anthem. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: Their most recently posted live clips, “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html and “Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, which are both from their recently released concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html; “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html Miyako is also a professional-level concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude”. Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ua-cam.com/video/G021aP2ao6Y/v-deo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" --you just watched this. "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Welcome to the party.. So many more songs for you to see..Do some lives next.. The crusade is great also Set the world on fire, Break the wall and Frozen serenade.. Best wishes

Hello, you’ve just witnessed greatness. Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These women are extremely talented, skillful and versatile exceptional musicians. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Helloween, Angra, Judas Priest, Dragonforce, and even Gary Moore, but they have been developing their unique style. Some people say that they are redefining metal or that they are breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. They really shine in their live performances. I recommend songs from the concerts “Wacken Open Air” (Germany, 2018), “Daughters of the dawn” (2019), “Five of a kind” (2020), “Awakening From The abyss” (studio live, 2020) and “Heavy metal never dies” (2021); avoid “Bloodstock” because audio is not good (not their fault). Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just six years. Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined Lovebites. In an interview, Miho (ex bassist) said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. My next suggestions are “Thunder vengeance”, “Break the wall”, “The Awakening/Hammer of wrath”, “Set the world on fire”, “Shadowmaker”, “Holy war”, “Raise some hell”, “Scream for me”, “When destinies align”, “The crusade”, “Frozen serenade”, “Spellbound”, “Don’t bite the dust”, “Winds of Transylvania” (all live). Lineup: Haruna - Drums Miho - Bass, backing vocals Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals Asami - Lead vocals, some piano They toured England with Dragonforce in 2019 (they good friends, by the way) Currently the band is in the process to find the new bassist.
Welcome to the best band on the planet. Lovebites formed in 2016 and in 2018 Lovebites won the Metal Hammer Golden God Award for Best New Band. Every song is incredible and all songs are in english. They play a variety of styles ranging from Just Metal all the way to old school Thrash Metal, so theres something for every one. When Destinies Align was an excellent choice to start with as its a song about themselves and funny you mention Dragonforce because this song was written while Lovebites was on tour with Dragonforce so yes it was inspired by Dragonforce. I recommend going to the heavier and darker side to lovebites with the song "Set The World On Fire" link ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html

My favorite band. Two songs I suggest to fulfill your thrash needs, both songs live from Zepp DiverCity Toyko 2020: "The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath" and "Break the Wall".
Welcome to the Wolfpack You have been lovebitten this is a very deep rabbit hole they have 3 albums 4 EP's and 4 Lives and no bad songs in 2018 they won in London the Metal Hammer Golden God award for best new metal band. you can do most any song and get a feeling of Iron Maiden, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, they have studied the older bands and they stay true to them with a modern flair these 2 guitarists are the best duo threat I have heard in 30 years since Iron Maiden and Judas Priest were rocking stages. they can play with any man out there and Haruna at 4'9 is like a pocket nuke on the drums. their styles can range from power metal, thrash metal, speed metal, classic 80's ballads, classical music infused with metal especially on Miyakos Masterpiece that she starts with a piano solo of Chopin here's a link if you also want to hear it Lovebites Swan Song with Chopin Intro ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html the link does allow CC so you can follow the lyrics.
You have Nemophila and Lovebites under your belt, now you need to hear/see the current best band on the planet, Band-Maid. Recommend you start with "Domination" live.
Band-Aid reaction is incoming TODAY at 2pm Mnt. Though, the band was just mentioned when I did it and just picked a song off their UA-cam channel. So, a fitting one was done...
@@OldBearReacts If you picked a Band-Maid song at random you still can't go wrong. You got the "big three" Japanese bands now, but you haven't scratched the surface yet. Quality hard rock and metal comes from Japan these days.
No, no, no! Please pause it when you talk! This mistake is made by many new reactors. First of all: We can't concentrate of what you are talking, because the music is still in the same volume. Second: We can't concentrate on the music, because you are talking :-). Third (and maybe most importent) How can you react to a song when you hear only half the song while you are always talkin? OK, enough criticism - I subscribe (and hope it will get better)... Oh, and I recommend "Swan Song" (inc. Chopin Intro!) as next Lovebites song. If it should not be Lovebites I recommend "Band-Maid" - "Domination" and "Onset" will blow your mind. And don't forget "Asterism" - HAL-CA maybe even better on guitar then M&M.
LOVEBITES - When Destinies Align lyrics:
It is not just some coincidence
It is nothing like reality
It is something very precious that not everyone can get
It is like a dream, a turn of fate
It is what the each of us can bring
It’s a chemical reaction, only possible by these pieces
Why must someone get in our way?We won’t let them
We can go cause we believe
Why must someone put out the light deep inside our hearts
Can you see?We can create a miracle
Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future
All of our hopes are in these hands
Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know
Carry on, carry on
This is us, carry on
It is failure that has brought us here
It is made of our blood and tears
It is something very strong that keeps us moving on and on
It is love, ambition, destiny
It is why we’ve been through everything
It is what becomes the reason, shining bright into tomorrow
Why must someone get in our way?We won’t let them
We can go cause we believe
Why must someone put out the light deep inside our hearts
Can you see?We can create a miracle
Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future
All of our hopes are in these hands
Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know
We will always be together
Carry on, carry on
This is us, carry on
Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future
All of our hopes are in these hands
Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know
We will always be together
Open your eyes, we’ll make a new future
All of our hopes are in these hands
Like a bird flying into a world we don’t know
We will always be together
Carry on, carry on
This is us, carry on

Welcome to the best band on the planet. Lovebites formed in 2016 and in 2018 Lovebites won the Metal Hammer Golden God Award for Best New Band. Every song is incredible and all songs are in english. They play a variety of styles ranging from Just Metal all the way to old school Thrash Metal, so theres something for every one. When Destinies Align was an excellent choice to start with as its a song about themselves and funny you mention Dragonforce because this song was written while Lovebites was on tour with Dragonforce so yes it was inspired by Dragonforce. I recommend going to the heavier and darker side to lovebites with the song "Set The World On Fire" link ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html
haha, nice. The song gave me some Through the Fire and Flames vibes, which is why I mentioned it.
@@OldBearReacts Awesome. i suggest keep listening because not all songs are the same with Lovebites and youll get all sorts of vibes from all sorts of different bands. Their kinda like a greatest hits of all the best bands in metal

"The Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath" and "Break the Wall".
Welcome to the Wolf Pack OldBear! Great reaction! Just subbed
👏👏👏
HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! HARUNA !!! 🤘🐺🤘
Thank you for the suggestions on the videos, I will for sure try to do that. There is a Band-Maid reaction incoming today. Though it's Choose Me.
Ok, you've seen "Nemo" and "Bites" I guess it's time for Band-Maid. There is even a UA-cam of Herman Li (Dragon Force) auditioning for the band!
Band-Maid Reaction coming today, thanks for the suggestion.
