1st case - 5 minutes in and I wouldn't want the plantiff living with me! UGH 🙄 She thinks she's all knowing and the way she talks over the plantiff. The plantiff moved into the defendant's home knowing the security cameras were there... In common areas of the SHARED house. Not in her private bedroom. Not in her bathroom. She said it herself, "The lease said the cameras had to be up, not that they had to be on." 🥴 I hate people like that. Way too immature. "Just breathe and let it go 😆." I agree the plantiff deserves the return of the overpay of rent and most of security deposit but not the pet deposit. I believe the pet sat in the couch. Next time the defendant needs an older single tenant with no pets. This girl was way too immature.
or how bout a landlord who isn't creepy and have cameras in the tenants place of home that they pay to stay there? would YOU like it if a landlord was watching your every moment not knowing if they have the videos secure or who could be watching them? also why does it matter if the pet sat on the couch? if pets are allowed then that is something that is going to happen. as Judge Judy would probably even say she may be the landlord but she isn't the queen
Not to mention there was multiple people coming and going into that property so for all we know other people did damages and the other things she complained about. If I was her I'd move out since it wasn't even my house I was renting but more like a single room
@@Sassafrass95 She had cameras in the common area though, what privacy is she entitled to in a private area where visitors and family members are constantly in and it wasn’t like the cameras were in the bathroom or the room she was renting in and not even that but she also knew the cameras were there before she moved in.
This my be an unpopular opinion, but I would've covered the one in the hallway too. Maybe not the other ones. But I guess the landlord doesn't resize those can be hacked by anyone. So she may not be watching them all the time, buy who's to say some creep off the internet isnt.
That lady seems crazy. If you want your house kept a certain way, then don't rent a room to people. It's that simple.
