What Do You Struggle With The Most In NBA 2K24?
Shooting 3's and defending the CPU one on one.
Everything lol.
Everything
It's op
Shooting no matter what I do. I play scared it's terrible
Finally someone in the 2K community who is non toxic.
Bruh i been looking for weeks
I get abused all the time. I think it's coz I'm from the UK and Americans cant take losing to someone in Wales UK lol
@chrisakabusi3224 well how would you feel losing in fifa from someone who lives in like tulsa Oklahoma or something lmao
@@chinortega3 I wouldn't take no offence lol I get called Pancho from dirty Sanchez lol
yes couse this is my FIRST nba game 😂 and i have literally no idea what im doing. this video was well explaind. all other tip videos talk about pleing on hardest dificulti and shi and im here like wtf those call buttons even do 😂 and i didnt even find training option but now 😊 😂
First time playing but I love basketball but this is a very hard game to learn, I can’t seem to make any 3 pointers and in game I struggle to defend
Same
Seems like a skill issue
@@oglowkey9532well yeah. No shit Sherlock.
The easiest way to play defense is to user the center on the defensive end. Most of the time you will be playing off ball. The center is also generally the slowest player to defend on offense so it is much easier
This is gonna help...
Play vs AI on easiest difficulty. Try your hardest to make open shots or high percentage shots. Watch your (turbo/sprint) don't abuse it.
Play like 5 matches... then up the difficulty. Repeat. 🤙
I watch a lot, and I mean a lot, of sports game tutorial videos and u r head and shoulders above them all!! U explain so well, your vibe is outstanding, and I wanna watch more!! Keep it up!!
Thanks for the tips, Coach!
great video man, Im just starting to play nba 2k and there's too many controls that are not displayed on their menus, your video helped me a lot
For anybody curious what that crazy high camera is, its "2K High"
Took me a while but finally found a solid helpful video !!! Thank you!!!
Finally, thanks for the video
The defensive matchup switching was the biggest thing for me, I was getting steam rolled constantly before I found that out from this vid 😂 Nice vid bro, appreciate all the tips
Great tips!
Love your content, bar far the best I’ve watched, being new to 2k24 makes a huge difference, you should make a video on settings… I hate when the cpu switches to defend another player they have no business defending, or leaving shooters wide open…
They don't even have to be on the fast break going baseline and all that for the double tap turbo man I love that it catches people of God who think they could just hold the defensive stance sliding over
You have more videos and content bro you always been a one since I first found so much negativity from these my team in my Park players man we need somebody just to teach people to basic so they can have fun too many game modes for people to be hurt over one
Going on screens, even with it on, it doesn't work properly. Also in gaming defensive setting, meaning auto, switch everything, no help, shrink court, straight, etc.....also how to properly set screens long enough to shot 3's without defender getting to contest.
Thanks for showing that about the defensive stuff I already knew about the quick select of those options but I didn't know what they specifically do and change
Great video. This gave me a headache just trying to figure out the basics.
I didn’t even think about association or quick game, I played a bit of Mamba moments and my career.
The depth of this game is crazy, and with WNBA I heard it’s much more fun and much less $ oriented and competitive.
I don’t know if I’ll ever really get how this game is meant to be mastered comparing it with 2k11 and 2k14.
I wish there was a better way to practice everything and master everything on your own but it forces you to play in the city to master my player.
Eg 2k 11 had the practice mode where the instructions were right there.
Needs customizable defenders (your choice) and someone (eg teamate) passing you the ball in practice mode or defending you so you can work on your post moves, layups, and shots.
I found practice frustrating bc the point is to become a legend or master a mode or a team or just be fucking great at the game.
and to be your OWN player too. I kiss having your name being called in my player.
But great review. I’ll post about a few suggestions for videos separately
I would Love an in depth look at the modes
good video no bs
If i want my player on my team to cut to basket lets say from the corner but he isnt open to avoid causing a turnover how to I cancel the pass?
For the putbacks, do you press y to jump and then press x in the air? I get a ton of offensive boards but very few successful putbacks
No just hit X / square. Consider it like a dunk ur guy goes up without u needing to jump if u press square
So I would love an in depth look at the modes.. the Eras or the previous Gen Leauge.
“Association mode “ next Gen, how the N.G. Franchise mode (GM) works with Association mode, or my career even WNBA .
Like I said before. It would be great to get a taste of how this game is designed to be played, and a look at everything it can do.
Honest they could sell my career or other modes separately.
My career mode NBA/WNBA is worth $100 on its own.
I’d like to see more game play on twitch and UA-cam from Mamba moments/ Eras, and ultimately Association.
I loved running a team in 2k11. I was taking the raptors to a championship but 82 games was too long. I learned the plays, switched off with coach mode etc. mostly played PG only.
Anyway. I played this on Xbox S although I’m a PS player. Was playing on a friend’s system and it became available on game pass.
so yeah. More looks at what the game can do for sure. All the modes and settings. How to use them etc. (eg. Sliders)
I had to watch several utube videos before someone mentioned you get an extra 20% if you turn off the shot meter.
Was there an instruction manual I missed? Was that explained by 2K somewhere?
That’s frustrating…
Which mode do you play a franchise on? Franchise is the only reason I play NBA 2K24.
Yo! Does anyone know how you use double team on PS5?
i'm new to basketball so has anyone got any tips on to defend? everytime i try and win the ball it says ''violation''. i find it a bit ridiculous but that's the rules so....
Thank you. My shooting is horrible at the moment. I hope setting me shotmeter to release will help.
Layups better with meter off
What level are online ranked games played on
I need to use Icon and lead passing more
Dang! That’s a nice camera angle! What is it
@sportsgamersonline is @0:03 2K High camera? if not what is it?
yes it is!
Yo...how play on Half of Fame ? Can win there ?))
can someone recommend me a video that helps with new 2k players? 2k24 is my first 2k and I need a beginner friendly guide to help explain everything I need to know, not just mechanics.
Same here!!
Thanks for the help cause I'm TRASH at 2k and I'm getting not to spend another $60 just to build my player up
This would've been useful if you put the actual key combinations on screen as you say them.
I need to know how to handle the tip off
Which camera setting are you using?
2k high
I think is better to off shot meter
Alley-Oops
How do you have your teammate cut too basket using their icon?
I was wondering the same thing
Idk what to do im always down 20
Anyone looking to play on xbox one? Just trying to have fun after work not try hard
Im stuck in the tutorial bit.
Having a hard time with three pointers
Are you a 76ers fan?
This game is in gamepass
Green fn
Bro im probably deleting 2k. Its so fucking bullshit trying to do defense and everything in general. I wasted my money on garbage.
I have no clue what the hell this guy is taking about lol
This shit didn't fucking work
This game fucking sucks
2k sucks
