I instantly hated it not because of gross out since there’s a lot of gross out cartoons that I enjoy
But rather because the show played itself way too safe
The jokes were cheap the characters were bland and forgettable and for a show about garbage pail kids I was expecting them to push boundaries but they didn’t
It’s actually ironic that cbs banned the show despite the show has already been watered down from its source material to fit its Saturday morning line up for the late 80s
The only good thing about the show is the opening before the intro theme song where they poke fun at people taking the garbage pail kids way too seriously
Ironic since the show was I repeat watered down for its intended audience
Surprisingly despite the show being banned from the Saturday morning lineup it actually got completed on dvd
Overall the garbage pail kids animated series is terrible people say that mega babies is terrible because of gross out but honestly the garbage pail kids animated series is worse because the garbage pail kids animated series didn’t even try at all
That’s my peace
Any thoughts mike
I’ve never even heard of the Garbage Pail Kids. But I guess if the animated series is bad then it lives by its name if you think about it since it has garbage in the title.
@@PizzamonMario actually the garbage pail kids cards are great they represent the pop culture icons that goes against the establishment durring the 1980s
I’ve also heard there was a movie based on them but I never saw it
@@jamesborlan2850 I see, surprised I never heard of them. Also there’s a show that randomly popped into my head today, The Doodlebops. Do you have any thoughts on that show by chance?
I remember watching it on Playhouse Disney as a little kid and liked. I don’t know if it was actually a good show, probably not judging by reviews I’ve seen but it’s just another show I remember watching as a young lad. Call it a guilty pleasure if you will.
@@PizzamonMario I honestly have no interest in this series
My only thoughts on the doodlebops are well
Think of the wiggles dressed as clowns
Opinion respected
Btw ever seen the show viva piñata it’s one of my favorite cartoons based off of a video game and a show I caught quite a bit as a kid
@@jamesborlan2850 I see, I’ll probably just put the show along with Fanboy & Chum Chum and a few other shows on my list of guilty pleasures, cause I don’t even know if my thoughts on The Doodlebops will age well because I haven’t seen the show in like 14 years.
And 40 more games
