Pride Month: How to Love Without Compromising? (Ep. 125)

  • Chaos and confusion are all around us. June is a month filled with rainbows and Pride parades and messages that “love is love.” We live in a time when we see a growing hatred towards Christians and a biblical worldview. These attacks and confusion are especially strong during “Pride Month.”
The Bible tells us that “Pride goes before destruction…”(Proverbs 16:18). So how do we make sure that we are protecting our families and teaching our children truth when the world is telling them that we are to accept and embrace the LGBTQ agenda?
Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I want to remind you that God and His Word never change. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to stand firm and remember that showing love is never compromising God’s commandments.

Thanks Cissie. I attend a United Methodist Church. My parents were charter members and they are in Heaven. As you know, this past convention was won by the LBGTQ vote to change the social parameters to allow for ordained lesbian and gay pastors, marriage of same sex couples. My pastor said our church would remain as is unless the congregation voted to allow these new parameters. I haven't been back. He said our opinions get in the way. He said the Methodists are a middle of the road; we're all a big tent. Regardless if this Church doesn't change it's still with the others under the big tent. He used the verse from Matthew you just read. I've tried to come up with some way to go back because I know I'm suppose to be with other believers. I don't really have any other place to go so I stay home and study the Bible with online pastors of other churches not in my state. The Bible is clear on homosexuality and I told him so. I'm 59yrs old and I never thought I'd see apostasy. Isn't this it? If I'm wrong please correct me. It makes me very very sad. The church doesn't preach on end times, the Rapture etc. I've learned most of that online. You're right though about loving God with every ounce of your being. Part of me wants to tell this whole LGBTQ group they are wrong and need Jesus. I know you're suppose to approach with love and not yell.I'm just very conflicted right now. Thank you for listening.

Your loving god of the Bible murdered nearly every person on the planet, including innocent children and babies. I call that gencide. But you're worried about what this god thinks about LGBTQ?

They already know they are wrong. And yet they keep sinning, that’s why God will send them to hell to burn for all eternity in a lake of fire.

God will send all those sinners to hell, so there’s not much use to spend time thinking about them. They are already doomed 🔥

Thank you for such a powerful sharing and for standing on the truth of God's word., It is gratifying to know we still have a remnant that will not compromise the truth. The Lord continues to bless you.

God bless you hundredfold for this podcast. I ask God to fill you with more wisdom, knowledge as you share to the world and to the Christian fold. Opening our eyes to what is happening in our world and what our stance need to be as christain bc, some so called christain are trying to show compassion to this new ideology. Which their main aim is to harm God's world and his children. Not realizing that God command and instruction need to come first. Christians need to place caution ⚠️ in dealing with this new ideology.

Thank you Cissie for your honest and beautiful thoughts and explanation of yet another "difficult" topic facing Christians in today's world. We definitely need more leaders that share your Christian example. God bless you in all you do.

Great episode Cissie! I agree with everything that you said. Whenever I see gay people, it hurts my heart to think about their eternity. I actually am doing a whole series on homosexuality right now as well because like you said, it is a topic that needs addressed. God bless you Cissie, and can't wait for the next episode!

I really enjoyed this message. I'm 82 years old, male Christian, graduated from high school at an orphanage (accepted Christ at age 15). I knew a couple of gay guys when I attended Baylor 1960-65 and I remember how they kept it very quiet. Then later, the gay group just wanted to be accepted.... and since acceptance, then they turned more militant in their demands. And now instead of 2 sexes (male and female) we now have a mishmash of confusion about sexuality. God says homosexuality is a sin and although I like some of the gay people I've known over the years, I still let them know that God is not pleased with them. They say they are Bible believers, but obviously they pick and choose what they choose to believe. There will be a reckoning soon and they are going to find out the real truth, much to their surprise. Keep on with your program. While I was at Baylor, I did get to talk to Rev Bill for a short while when he spoke at an assembly on campus and I was impressed that he spent the extra time talking to me, but mostly I remember him looking me in the eye while shaking my hand and said "God has a lot of plans for you".

I appreciate you Cissie and what the LORD is doing through you and in you, and how you are submitting to Him. The world focuses on "God's love" (which really the world doesn't not understand love at all, because it doesn't understand God, who is love and therefore the only source of love), but the clearest evidence of rejecting the TRUE God and not understanding the true meaning of love, is the refusal to be OBEDIENT. Same story from the very beginning... I don't like to be obedient, therefore I reject you God, and will shape you into my own image, whereby I can set whatever standards I please.

Congratulations ! and thanks for 5 years of activity accumulated with enthusiasm and joy through the topics discussed.
In the Old Testament God helps or punishes this "plague" during the reign ex. I Emperor 15;12 where Asa reigned 41 years
but he cleaned up the country. What joy the Apostle Paul brings to the Ephesians ch.5;21-33 by talking about human
relationships similar to Christ's love for the church. The growing "subject" is a derailment from the "railroad" of life where
even the symbol of the "holy covenant" represents them ... God Bless you and all , from your family !

  • @ga6589

I see growing criticism towards theists who think their religious views should take prescedence over the rights of other people. You are entire free to worship as you please and never attend a gay-pride parade or buy anything with a rainbow on it. You are not free to impose you religous beliefs on other people. While your world view may be based on a god and holy book, not everyone is willing to base their world view on non-evidentiary claims.

As for Intersex individuals, I don't know about the LGBTQ itself, Genesis 5:2 specifically states the term "THEM". "THEM" in Hebraic grammar is 3rd Person, Masculine, and SINGULAR, directly implying both MALE & FEMALE in a SINGLE Body, also known as "HERMAPHRODITE". As for "gender", the Jewish Talmud informs us of 6 different genders, with Male & Female being at the extremes. The term "INTERSEX" requires the BINARY, as "INTER" means "BETWEEN", so for anyone to claim that INTERSEX individuals are NON-BINARY is simply not only ridiculous but also straight-up wrong. In the Scripture, INTERSEX individuals are known as "BORN EUNUCHS", which are permitted access into the TEMPLE while non-born (or manmade) eunuchs are completely denied access thereinto.
