@@Crazyturtle879 true, but in 1v1s Aquarion will have half the map with +1 movement without having to spend anything on roads. I’m not saying it’ll make Aquarion good but it’s worth looking into
@rain-c8q ok that's true, offence beyond your own terrain will still be difficult but defence is pretty strong and mobilising an army will be easier aswell cuz units from many cities can quickly get to the same spot
@centiguy I don't think you realise how goddamn slow flooding is, especially while in battle as you can't just spam units to flood tile. Also your sharks, jellies and puffers are much worse on flooded Terrain so half of your military power basically doesn't exist if you play aquarion drylands
Btw, I don't think crabs are nerfed that badly, they gain an extra movement (and also one by bouncing), but they lose a defense - a pretty fair trade tbh
Ngl, ive been steamrolling people in continents with the no-bubble aquarion. The bubbles seem ridiculously op in my opinion. Them being slower kinda balanced just how quick you can expand through the water. On top of all, its not even like roads, it costs nothing to make a bubble and it works anywhere on the map?! Even as an aquarion player, thats crazy
it is really good but you need to first buy the technology, plus each time you get attacke/conter-attack/go o land, you loose this boost. Finally new units don't have bubble immediatly, they need to go on a flooded till so it seems balanced to me
@Arkad-9 Nah bro, think about it. You also need to buy roads as a tech, so no difference there. Now, instead of spending 3 stars per square like roads, you only need to move a unit onto flooded terrain (which is ALL your territory). Imagine all warriors and riders to have a semi-permanent personal roads that costs NO stars for the price of moving one square in any direction. On top of all, this happens on ALL your territory AND on water, which all other tribes struggle in. Aquarion already expanded through a map quicker than anyone else, even quicker than polaris. Losing it when getting attacked is not even close to making it balanced There's a reason why they didnt have any form of roads before. They were too quick to expand already. Its crazy now
Not me screaming at the screen cause Mr Blueberry Cheesecake forgot about his warrior next to kickoo's capital which always wa able to reveal a lighthouse until t11 (where he casually revealed it)
Like the new aquarion so far. You should play a 1v1 mirror with Tolby and review it afterwards. An awesom battle and informative video it would be. Thanks for the cool content. 😉👍
Actually I find Jelly strategy more interesting when they have to move to deal damage. Jellies were already a powerful unit without being able to attack directly
17:49 pretty sure it didn't bubble itself cause it had a bubble when it attacked, but then gets the bubble the next time it moves at 21:00 where the other one doesn't cause it's action is flooding - not 100% sure tho
Maybe against the devs so you can talk about this tribe in person with them. You can also play with Gully but i doesn't matter to me much personally. I suggest playing against the devs. Thanks for understanding❤❤
On turn 7 there was a misplay, you should have hit the raft and bounced onto the Yaddak capitol instead of capturing the village Edit: you missed taking the capital again in turn 11
i'm not very interesting in polytopia, i just game in it. But this update is really entertaining and how will be organized aquaculture and or will they something add in future . And i think the idea of ancient civilization in polytopia will be paid off. And i almost forgot, Polish it's important, would like Ukrainian but Polish it's also ok.
Drylands Aquarion might be insane now?
They still lose the bubble if they walk onto a land tile tho??? How are they insane?

They can flood land

Now i realized crabs got nerfed like it can bounce FARR while giving good attacking opportunities
Btw, I don't think crabs are nerfed that badly, they gain an extra movement (and also one by bouncing), but they lose a defense - a pretty fair trade tbh
12:42 - mercy for yaddak - that extra movement from bubbles is wild
The Forgotten using the full power of FLORIDA
1:24 they say ancients will be a lightning tribe...👀

12:42 Why not seige city with bubbled rider lol. They had no units nearby
Just played a game with this, ironically against yaddack, and i love these bubbles and other changes to aquarion
The crabs seem to bubble when they previously lacked a bubble and lose their bubble if they had one
Not me screaming at the screen cause Mr Blueberry Cheesecake forgot about his warrior next to kickoo's capital which always wa able to reveal a lighthouse until t11 (where he casually revealed it)
I think the crab only gets a bubble from auto-flood if it didn‘t have one before.

Need to be able to seed aquafarms like regular farms.
I think so too, and I would stay in technology. "Construction" cost 5 star
We should petition for a Polaris rework!!!! They are in need of some attention!!
Polaris is fine though??
Elyrion needs a rework tbh
They are probably 2nd if not the best in the game. They don’t need a rework, they need a nerf. Skill issue maybe?
Yo do you know if they’re thinking of adding any new tribes in the recent future?
So cool Mcnugget!
lovely bubbles
Just me screaming for you to move mermaid to the north lighthouse no biggy 🙏😆
Its not random, if the crab has a bubble they lose it. If it had no bubble they gain it
Bopada bopada bop!
@@Tolbby that crab on the mountain though... 🫠

the warrior in the N corner
😢
"Static" means the unit cannot fight back right?
Static: Unit cannot become veterans
Rigidez: This unit does not counterattack

Great! Now they are even more busted! Lets go. :|
... nerfed crab... shark attack is eh... Jelly with retailiate should be cool...
