No way, that Y was me! It was a very fun game, though honestly I just wanted to play a quick live game, not a 50 turns one :( I resigned cause I didn't want to spend many more turns getting the techs for knights and bs and such to have an actual chance to breakthrough. I also went cloak because I felt like it was the fastest option to go for that gave me a chance. However I haven't really played with cloaks before (took a long break from poly when they were released) and had no real idea how they worked, so yeah it did not work out at all like I hoped it would. Btw it didn't feel like my spawn was looking better at the start at all, I thought you had one more city on that continent you could have launched that land invasion way earlier. I had no road connections on that part of the continent yet and no other units then was, so I am sure it would have worked. For the rammers I send through the channel, it was more so to keep your ships to advance too much, giving your bs a better chabce to support a land invasion. Anyways, was a great game though not one that I wabted to play that day.

Have you considered editing out the time the opponent takes to do their turn? At least at the start when it's just white tiles with no vision on what they are doing

14:41 is a slight misplay, could you have not turned that raft into a sailboat in order to capture the city? There were no movement penalties and you had the 5 stars to do so, so you could easily turn the fact to a sailboat and take the +1 movement which will reach the empty city.

To give my own insights onto the topic "to hunt a fish, or to fish a fish": (Excuse my bad english) Hunting is actively pursuing an animal, in order to reach the animal and pacify it. Whether this is succesfull, or fatal; doesn't matter. It only matter that there is pursuit. When humans try to catch fish there are various ways, bit the most prevalent in artisanal or amature atempts is, with a cane. With a cane you are not pursuing the fish, instead the fish is pursuing you. This change of role (but not change of predator/prey) makes that it is not hunting. However, it may be potentially named 'Trapping'. As this summarises the roles of the fish and the fisher way more accurately. Also guys, for anyone gaving a stroke when reading this and having a stroke. Just use your neighbourhood defibrillator charge.

Btw, I don't think crabs are nerfed that badly, they gain an extra movement (and also one by bouncing), but they lose a defense - a pretty fair trade tbh

Actually I find Jelly strategy more interesting when they have to move to deal damage. Jellies were already a powerful unit without being able to attack directly

I think the crab only gets a bubble from auto-flood if it didn‘t have one before.

Now i realized crabs got nerfed like it can bounce FARR while giving good attacking opportunities

i'm not very interesting in polytopia, i just game in it. But this update is really entertaining and how will be organized aquaculture and or will they something add in future . And i think the idea of ancient civilization in polytopia will be paid off. And i almost forgot, Polish it's important, would like Ukrainian but Polish it's also ok.

Ngl, ive been steamrolling people in continents with the no-bubble aquarion. The bubbles seem ridiculously op in my opinion. Them being slower kinda balanced just how quick you can expand through the water. On top of all, its not even like roads, it costs nothing to make a bubble and it works anywhere on the map?! Even as an aquarion player, thats crazy

Its not random, if the crab has a bubble they lose it. If it had no bubble they gain it

The crabs seem to bubble when they previously lacked a bubble and lose their bubble if they had one

I really liked this type of video, where you all take more time to make more calculated moves, this game feel a lot more "pro polytopia gameplay" than your more reckless 1v1 live games. I saw you joined the ArcticWolves and I hope you review some of your league games like you did with this one
