I would be genuinely surprised if there were two new versions of Spiderman: Super-Spider and Bat-Spider.
Super-Spider would be half-Kryptonian, with the powers of both Spiderman and Superman, while Bat-Spider would have the powers of Spiderman while dressed up as Batman.

They actually came up with Spider-Boy in the 90s. He was a poorly written fusion of Spider-Man and Superboy, but lacked the abilities of either one. He was dragged from one event to another, was worshiped by everybody, and did nothing the entire time. I only ever read the first issue, but that was more than enough to make me wonder why they made it, and why would the higher ups let them waste such a potentially epic fusion on such a loser?

First off nah everyone's got their own tastes and I mean plenty of these are either different enough to be fully separate characters like Miles who can then become really popular and the majority were one offs either seen in the background or in the countless what if stories published from the 60's on. They're not too harmful especially considering how spaced out a lot of them are from each other. Except the Spider-Verse exclusives
