October 21, 2023 donation day 2023 at the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij

On October 21, 2023, the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij held its biennial donor day. Because the registered group was so large, it was decided to split this group. the 1st group first went by train to the (normally not publicly accessible) workshop in Apeldoorn and Loenen. The 2nd group had an information meeting in the station building. After lunch the roles were reversed so that everyone went on the train and caught up on what has happened in the past 2 years and what the plans are for the next 2 years.
For the occasion, traction was provided by the steam locomotive VSM 41 241, which came into service this year.
