Fun fact, the cabinet actially has been made into the Forbidden Cupboard, and its full of plastic cups so Princetopher can play, now the freakout is just to add enrichment because she seems to enjoy the worrying them, but they also set up special enrichment stuff sometimes and cheer her on.
They even decorate it some times for special occasions. It was her birthday recently and they set up a disco dancefloor, covered the walls in pink paper, and got her lots of plastic things to fling out of it. They love that bird so much

this person has her own youtube channel with tons of videos of prince getting into trouble, and at one point they pranked the bird by gluing the glasses to the cabinet shelf. prince is just hopping around trying to move them and chirping with frustration when they won't fall. she's not the first bird i've seen to have a penchant for pushing stuff off elevated surfaces cat-style, and i'm convinced this is a trait among animals that are... less susceptible to gravity. the concept of something just falling and shattering on the ground is so alien to them they're fascinated by watching it happen.
i've been following their channel for a while, and i feel like that wouldn't work LMAO like the bird equivalent of getting your cat a new thing and them just continuing to use the same stuff they already had lol

Back story from Tamia, Prince's mum: she used to have a bird growing up named Princess, after years together, Princess passed away. Then, Tamia got Prince. At first, they thought it was a male so they named it Prince. One day, they found Prince have laid an egg 😂 Thus the name became Princetopher, with Prince as a nickname.
Wouldn't have happened to be a yellow and white one, near the gulf coast, alabama, would it? Third largest city? We had someone take care of our animals during the hurricane around 2001, and his dumb ass dropped the cage and we lost a few.
My sister has a large macaw that will fight you for your plate if you don’t fix him one. And it has to be the same food, you can’t just fix a plate with “bird” food on it. If it’s not the same he’ll ignore it and come after yours. And let me tell you it hurts like hell when he bites you when you try to stop him.
I wouldn't advise that, I got a Hahn's Macaw after reading about a spirited little bird, I love him to pieces but they're with you for years - it's alot more to owning them than you might think. It's a long commitment & yes they love all kinds of whole fruits/veg - do not feed junk food - chocolate & avocado (and xylitol) are toxic

If you didn't know birds like people food, might I suggest doing a *ton* of research first, before "getting one" The best pet parents, best *bird* pet parents don't generally just *wing* it or learn on the *fly* (puns intended) Happy, health well rounded birds take a lot of time and work... a lot! If you were just happily reacting to a fun, lovely, mischievous lady and wishing or dreaming, out loud like many of us, that we wish we had one (but not seriously) and just reacting with the joy to this video?... She likes seeing her reflection in the glass and hearing the echo of her voice in the glass cups. My canary did the same thing with his plastic bird bath dome that clipped onto his cage door. He'd get inside and sing to his reflection in the water!

It's been years since they passed away, but I still miss those little buggers.
On her channel she explained that they tried to get a partner for Prince, but she did not get along with any of them. I also have a single lovebird who got bullied by every bird we tried to pair him with. Sometimes birds just don't get along with each other

i feel like its more an issue with improper handling (theres a lot of that in the video) which probably caused them to lose the birds trust

Never separate love birds, you need at least two for them to behave and stay happy.
Actually you can have an individual of any parrot. You just have to make sure you yourself replace the social enrichment.
