FOCUS VOL.2 is a collection of honorable mentions from R&D and production (dynamic wallpapers). The project was all about pure colors, clean shapes and marbling. I tried to reduce the amount of flow additives to a minimum in order do get sharp edges and avoid shapes being washed out on canvas. Everything is a bit more natural and organic, visible imperfections, dust and splotches, no heavy grading or retouching. The look has something flat and graphic to me. I think the method isn’t complete yet, but overall some good moments in there. I don’t know if I have resources to go on with research anytime soon, that’s why I wanted to share the work in progress with you, on hold for now.
This collection is a bit of everything with a moody soundscape to chill and enjoy.

This is so nice and relaxing, watching only my oppo find X2 pro which is so beautiful. It has 1440p 120 Hz super amoled hdr with 1 billion colours. Also, if possible a longer version would be nice since I could watch this for 20 mins before bed and be so relaxed. Your work is truly amazing keep at it!

Really lovely piece! Absolutely beautiful. Do you have a breakdown video of what you did to achieve it?
Did you have to use a backlit (transparent glass) to achieve the even lighting? And were you using a macro lens or a microscope?
Apologies for all the how-to questions, it's just really well done and I'm genuinely curious about your method!
Many thanks! Its paint on paper, topshot with a RED dsmc2 8k and a 100 mm macro lens. The trick is to tweak the colors and the way to apply them on the paper.

@@RomanDeGiuli Without revealing too much of your creative process (unless you're willing to divulge) what method(s) are you using to create motion within the scene? (Some kind of blowing action (straw) or are you using something more concentrated and consistent like a fan?)
@@District7DrewGeraci I create motion with many aspects of physics like blowing or torching. I also use flow release mediums like alcohol and stuff

Thanks Lukas, I work on paper and tilt and bend it as it gets soggy. Lots of Acrylic Paint and Medium...

Nice! Unfortunately, my computer could not handle it at 60fps at 4K HDR and drops frames at 1440p HDR... please keep the non 60fps 8K hdr version...
I will keep the 30fps version, 60fps need a lot of horsepower to playback I agree

This video is only 4K, I feel betrayed.
of course its 8K, check yt on your computer lower right, if you access it from a TV, the TV only shows you which res currently is available. If you are in front of an 4k oled it cant stream 8K for example
@@RomanDeGiuli hmm, neither Chrome nor Safari 14 shows an 8K HDR option. May be an issue with UA-cam/the browsers because this doesn't seem to work on other videos advertised as 8K HDR as well. If a video is not HDR, 8K seems to work.
@@duffman7674 thanks for looking into this. maybe an issue, but not sure about it, I know people streaming this in native 8K HDR but only on an 8K HDR TV from Samsung. Only thing I can see on my end is 4K HDR available on my LG C8 and 8K SDR available on my Macbook, at least in theory, cant playback this on a MBP anyway, Cheers!
